I actually have one of those aftermarket cases with the mineral/sapphire crystal instead of plexy, etc.. as a spare. Pretty decent and for the money, you cannot beat it.

They are on the small side, but don't feel or look as small due to the pushers. You can always wear it on a Bund strap like Paul Newman did and this will more than make up the difference. I like the fact that these are tool watches first. Period. E

That's the strap that I'm looking at, price, not so good. Eric should make a few like these being that so many Daytonas are out there waiting for the proper soles. E

Silix dial? The ST19 is a sweet time keeper. Mine is running strung(St1902) at +/- 5 secs a day and use it almost twice a week. E

These past few weeks have been brutal with school and work. I will update on this. I also need to unload some watches and parts to make room for the projects I really want to keep. I think that buying one of Silix cases for the bezel alone is not a bad deal. If the crystal ring for the Trevor/Josh cases works out for these, it is a good option for the cost. Now, if I can make a military 6538 out of the Silix case, then I can even out the total cost. How's your project Drury? E

The dial I have is 30mm in diameter and feet are located at 04 and Should fit the 7750 movement I have.

I was reading the post and it seems possible. I may just keep the case instead of sell it just to see. This will be a good deal if one can find the right bezel. E

I wonder if I can use the aftermarket 116520 case with a gen dial and 7750 movement for a build like this. JMB, any insights? E
