Look what the mailman dropped by this morning The HEV is for the SSD project. I have the Gen crown and tube, gen insert and "3135" movement with correct DW. Just need to get the matte dial from Yuki(I like the early look better) and I think I will be ok. The 8mm crown is for a 6538 military to finish that project. The HEV will remain in the pack until I am ready. Anyone know the specs for drilling these? E

The dial looks good as is. Wear it well. E

The Patina on that GMT is just dead on. E

I like GLOW, Inc, but it dries like Elmer's glue. I use a little(read tiny tiny) bit of talcum powder to give it the "Cheeze it" texture. Color is entirely your choosing. Iodine, water or finger paints work well. E

Confirmed, gen crystal WON'T fit the SD newer cases. rehaut IS wrong. Had to try it for myself. E

Hate to wake this up again. The one from Le/Trevor doesn't look so bad. Is the case the thin Sub case, or a thicker one? Anyone purchase this recently? E

I definitely need a spare one to work on. Good starting point. Go big or go home! E

Hmmm, well, the case would work for a Faux 21j, but the movement would be lost in there. I just tried it with a Daytona 7750 movement and dial and the fit is perfect. I have a faux 21j case on hand and the dimensions are not even close. E

Confirmed. 7750 movement fits in there like a glove. Stem alignment perfect also. Man I wish I had a bezel for this. E
