  1. Speaking of water proof, what is the 6263's WR rating? E
  2. Is this your auction Nanuq? AK=Alaska E
  3. No biggie got it. E
  4. Interested in the strap price as well. For my 7031 build I may go a bit darker but it looks nice. Thanks for sharing Matt E
  5. +1 to what JMB said. Worse case scenario, get a Tudor Rose dial from Raffles in the smaller size and go with that after the case work is done. E
  6. The watch looks very good. I agree, the strap looks good. Specs on the watch? E
  7. Looks very good. Matt, you know we love the vintage porn. Keep the pictures coming. Specs are also in order. E
  8. Drew the gun and shot! Building myself a "6200" we shall see how if comes out. I think motorcity, or the other company(cannot remember now) have the big lollipop hands for either ETA or Miyota/DG movements. Keep the good information coming. E
  9. WOW E
  10. If you "toast" the red and blue I am sure the colors will get better. Make the font less "bold" or choose a different one. Based on Freddy's pictures, reshaping the edge of the insert should not be too bad. E
  11. Ok Justin, we get it man, we do. . Looks awesome!!! Are you going to start making the bezels themselves? E
  12. To install the gen tube you NEED the correct tool. The tap you can buy off of ebay. E
  13. You can always try Yuki. E
  14. Ideally, what the industry SHOULD do is produce a movement that fits the gen parts correctly, as well as work very well, but maybe not look so much like the Gen. Best of both worlds. E
  15. That bracelet DOES not look bad. E
  16. I would definitely lean towards a 2783 ETA. Works flawlessly, right Beat rate and no hacking. Parts are easily sourced and the movements are not too expensive to buy/fix. a 3/64" drill bit will work for the lug holes as well. E
  17. Yup. I just posted the pics to close my post here. Definitely a 2836 type movement with jeweling and some other parts/engravings to make it "look" 3135. E
  18. Whatever happened to this watch? E
  19. Well, the parts are interchangeable with the Asian ETA 2836-2, but not the stem. Also, the rotor and winding plate are a solid piece of metal, not a sticker. The [censored]'s arm is a funny one, one piece( I assume bolted to the top of the [censored]) and the adjusting arm is only revealed when you remove the auto-wind parts. Pics below. E From left to right: ETA 2783, ETA 2824-2 and the 3135 Asian ETA 2836-2 and 3135 side by side without the auto-wind mechanism
  20. That is the case I am looking for. Drilled lugs no engraving. E
  21. Most definitely ispytonyv. Most definitely. Now I wonder about the 3035 movement(for those looking for a SSD perfect cheap build) E
  22. Looks awesome man! I still have not used the crown but cannot wait. E
  23. That's the one I want!!!! E
  24. Good point. I think I will use the 703 crown/tube combo and save the 702 for the older sub build. One thing that I cannot find information on, is how water tight the pushers are on a Daytona and the Depth rating/water proof rating of the 6263. E
  25. HAHAHA. I shall see tonight for sure. E
