Never seen a screw-in/spring bar 22 mm buckle with logo. As I believe the only gens are the MX ones (24mm sewn-in), could imagine rep makers not making the effort. Would be cool though, they're beautiful!

Pic from the extensive review by Angus/PureTime on the 111M (one of the best threads ever, be sure to check it out) - geneva to the right:

Maps, release the crownguard, pull out the crown and rotate? Should do the trick. Re the AR, hard to tell from middle pic if it's lighting or less than perfect applied AR... Hey, PAM gens don't have perfect, go into an AD and have a look if you haven't already! If it really bugs with the AR you can either strip the upper layer of coating or have one of the forum modders put on new crystal/coating for you!

Noobfactory movements are hi-beat, accurate to gen 005s.
-
If you want details regarding what the esteemed members above are basing their judgement on I'd list: deeper/wider cb engravings, flat movement screws, pointer CG pin than h fact (plus that the "screw thing" sits more flush), deeper dial cutouts etc. To be 100% guess you can hook it up to a beat timer to see if it's 21 600 and look on the upper side of the movement and see if it has cdG All based of course on the differences between the makers for the 111m...

Congrats to the started build project Z! For watch crazed guys like us there's not many things better than when you're in the tingling planning and building phase, hope everything turns out perfect!

For those without access to the other RWG I'll quote from Steve so you can form your own view - hope that's ok for everyone. 10th Nov:Hey guys,Selling reps and dealing with everything that goes with it isn't worth it anymore. Our own brands are doing well enough that David and I decided to stop selling replicas. After the remaining stock is exhausted, there will be no more made.End of Dec:Hi everyone, It's been a hell of a month to say the least. My Aunt and I are the only ones in the family able to take the time to help out with my grandmother, everyone else lives and works too far away. Then, a few days before Christmas, my Aunt fell down the stairs and broke an ankle and sprained the other. She's still in rehab, but getting out tomorrow afternoon. I'll be staying with her to help out for a little while. I'm like a caregiver lately. I'm sure I have some emails in my yahoo account, but I can't access it. It won't let me change the password or anything. God knows whats up with that. Could be something with the TOR network. Anyone who needs to contact me should send a PM. I probably won't be reading threads so anything in here may go unanswered. Also, we won't be taking any new orders until further notice. Shipping and customs are strict right now, and Chinese New Year is in 3 weeks, so I'm guessing we will start with new orders after that. At the risk of being rude, I'm going to ignore PMs about new orders, and only answer questions regarding previous or pending orders/issues.

Looking good! Wish I had a sister buying me watch cases

He posted on RWG1 that he has had to take care of his grandmother a lot due to health concerns lately and that he hasn't been able to login to his mail account due to technical issues. Think DW/Steve will focus on outstanding orders now, or at least that's what I remember from that thread.

Actually haven't these specific straps, but photography style and look shouts out Meisturwerk Machinen?? Check out his albums at: http://www.slickpic.com/u/MEISTURWERKMACHINEN/?albumsList Regardless of these are his or not I can most highly recommend his services if you're into vintage straps with pretty patina, he can most def make these for you! Plus, he's the nicest and most stand-up guy there is...

Welcome to the forum Kyle! You and your addiction will feel right at home here with the rest of us junkies. If you're wondering 'bout something, don't hesitate asking

You need to create an account and login to see prices. That said, I've had some issues with the site myself, Phong is however really quick on answering e-mails. Was offered a v72->v727 newman daytona for around $5k a couple of weeks ago, stepped away from that after hearing stories like the one above from Wachtmeister...

23 cm = 9.05 inches, so that should fit nicely, hope you buy and like it! Have a jv on my avatar 3646 right now and love it!

Thanks Wolf, you beat me to it!

Fully agree, would rather based on the QC's from Pete... It's released now anyway: http://www.puretimewatch.com/product/pam127-e-n-maker-11-superlumed-ultimate-edition-on-soft-tan-leather-strap/

Bryce, here's a nice article describing some vintage Panerai models: http://rolexblog.blogspot.com/2011/12/chapter-3-panerai-italian-royal-navy.html

Looks like his collection of 6152's, the "ancestor" to the Pam 127, domed crystals and either Rol618 or Angelus 240 movements.

Hare to spoil this wonderful thread but here are some tiny iPhone shots taken by Noob maker and posted by Angus/Puretime, given size I'd say Pete's pics are almost as good Beside new 217 Larger pics on route later today...

Just sprang for a classic 6239 Daytona from Spinmaster!
ogladio replied to gioarmani's topic in The Rolex Area
Good move and merry christmas to yourself! Awaiting delivery from Spin as well, he sure seems like an excellent guy. Make sure to later post wristshots -
Beautiful watch, congrats and merry christmas to you! Thanks for posting. Those recessed sub-dials and the matte, almost sand-blastered looking finish of the dial really sets it apart from the stock rep.

Sotheby's Watch Auction pics from this weekend ...
ogladio replied to Martyd3's topic in General Discussion
Great pics and excellent way to spend an anniversary! Hadn't heard of the rivet use on 3646 before - were those hands standard on the model at that time? -
Mike, basic question - does the gen wheels fit the eta/a7750 or has iwc modded e.g the cal 79320 in some way there?
-
Good idea with leather Zeleni, love 'em these way myself! Can't give you any advice on exact choices, but I'll continue pushing you in the leather direction with these two (sorry, 6241 newman, but what the heck):

Have a Benchmark DAC1 HDR myself which I have connected to various sources e.g a high end transport, can only give it highest of praises! Never experienced better detailing and well tech specs are basically impossible to surpass. Some however experience it TOO neutral, guess that's a matter of your taste
