  1. That "007" dial indice is the lamest thing I've seen since the Top Gun logo on the IWC case.
  2. Got a pm from Hugo on rg a couple of hours ago. Seemed alive and kickin'.
  3. Now this is just mean - posting such a part list, just rub it in!! Looking forward to updates mate
  4. I waited 6 months for iwc day/datewheels and am still awaiting tube to match a gen crown I picked up separetely. I'd be happy to switch to your source for parts within weeks! But of course, with all parts available, assembling is quick...
  5. Really nice! Love the flexibility of that hidden rivet strap
  6. L=2009, M=2010 for the gen Pams. See e.g: http://www.paneraisource.com/articles_reference_numbers.shtml
  7. Since you're begging for it: it's very very nice
  8. Sorry, couldn't tell if you were sarcastic or not... Here's my first google result anyhow: http://ndtradingcorp.com
  9. I have your back buddy!! Nothing better than skinny chicks and big watches, we should have a separate thread on that!
  10. Not sure if the stock coating is single or double sided, but my view is that the rep crystal has rather poor visibility and also a certain glare which I don't like. Aftermarket AR makes the dial "pop" in a very appealing way. It's then matter of taste if you wish gen-like (Taka AR) or very clear look (e.g Chief AR).
  11. Re bracelet, very easy to remove. Otherwise you can always buy it on rep leather A springbar tool is well worth the investment btw if you want to change straps and don't own one...
  12. @ZK - normal "Klorin" works perfect for bleaching insert. No need to dilute, just don't leave it in too long.
  13. Has anyone stated that it's impossible? Most asians have eta counterparts afaik, although hands might need broaching etc... Isn't it rather so that the TG and 3717 are "more 1:1" reps and thus more inspiring for people to order with upgraded movements?
  14. +1, the 111 is one of the best reps around. Put your cash to use on a more poorly made model
  15. +1, and when going 'genenstein'-ish, expect > 12 months lead time and mental illness
  16. Hi mate, formal welcome! Fellow scandinavian here, think RWG is a great place with much knowledge and a friendly atmosphere. Keep truckin'
  17. Swapped parts and subjected to various treatments. In this case e.g better AR coating, new day/date wheels, brushed caseback, perhaps an eta 7750 movement etc.
  18. +1, it's perfect timing for that as well as he's in Thailand right this moment. Paid deposit for an MBK PAM48 yesterday that he will pick up and send me from UK (within EU borders).
  19. Exactly the same here. Patience is as always what keep a rep nerd sane...
  20. What kind of project are you thinking of?
