  1. Amazing "Dirk" - love it! As always it's a pure joy to see your Snapseed oem spec cg porn too. If you ever decide to part with that strap...
  2. Looks great! Love the 202A and seriously plan on one. Assuming dial is FGD and caseback Jakob, but what case and crownguard is that? Still noob on this area
  3. Yes, ask us instead of the dealers. Welcome to the forum, say goodbye to your savings account!
  4. Looks great, nice work!
  5. This is the same Taiwan guy who had a rep p2002 movement (also known as the FIGHT DAY) "soon for release"?
  6. Merry Christmas back to you Akira! As always, you're an asset to the forum. PM sent
  7. It is said that adding jewels on certain (metal-to-metal) points will reduce the total friction, which otherwise (with dirt and tear) will overcome the power of the driving train. Sounds promising and many report good results, but I don't think there are any actual empirical evidences / "proof" yet. If you like the rep, try it! Due to the high variation in build quality, some of these reps work well after a year while many others end up dead within a month (just from what I understood here on the forum).
  8. Good point, didn't look close as that was not listed as an issue in the OP Maybe the dealer could just swap the caseback? Otherwise I have an extra Noob N caseback in the parts drawer...
  9. Mate, you have a stunning watch there! Dial font is correct as you write and the swan neck is purely cosmetical on these reps - you can adjust tiny things like that, the inca bloc and the micrometric screw at a later phase - if you end up caring that is I'd confirm to the dealer right away.
  10. Nice on! Always appreciated with more closed cb versions.
  11. Don't think DSN has a website? His contact info is in his section, but don't ask him too many questions though. He's great, but not really the chatty type
  12. If the feet don't fit, you could always have them cut and go with dial dots instead. But sounds weird if that should be needed, touch wood and best of luck mate
  13. Think that should work. You need to rotate the dial so that the crown goes in at 9 instead of 3. Dial feet should fit also when turned 180 degrees. Base model sure helps.
  14. Looks great! What parts are you using?
  15. Tried Ace? Otherwise there's Strapdaddy over at RWI sourcing discounted oem straps.
  16. Could anyone happen to have advice on what hands to buy for a 1016 project? My parts sofar are: jmb case, eta 2824 and a chapter gilt dial from ingod, which I guess gives indication on appropriate budget. Appreciate the assistance.and perhaps also a link or two!
  17. You could hook up the watch winder or just keep it on you to followup performance during longer time. Power reserve should at least be good enough to allom you some sleep / rest Another option is to use e.g the Kello app for iPhone which acts more like a timegrapher giving you a deviation per day.
  18. Great thread! Need to go with Simona Xmas - oem ass on second place.
  19. Order from them and then post details on your experience here - that would make a good contribution to this forum! However, you do need to know that there are hundreds of threads here on the topic "how about dealer XXX.com" - have seen few (if any??) leading to something being judged as good and amended to the trusted dealers list.
  20. Wow, that looks awesome! Jmb's 1016 casework is top notch, congrats!
  21. Good question, also like to hear about this! Are there any other companies than IWC that steered the seconds towards six on the old 7750?
