Ronin, I have to disagree a little bit. First: there aren't many netbooks with a built in CF card reader (which is the common storage medium for dslr) Second: there is an imageshack app for the ipad - which is free Third: there is no free image editing software for the ipad until now, oops not so an advantage for the Ipad All in all I'm a Pc guy over and over and I wouldn't give them up! But if you have ever experienced browsing the web with an iPad you'll never touch that netbook again. I hate those touchpads since I own the pad! Justmy two cents - and yes I do miss flash on the iPad Andei

Great project you are doing here! it's really hard to resist building a vintage piece for myself when I see such great work.

Great news so far, but I would suggest to reduce the bevel to a minimum and having a brushed finish on the crown. everything else seems fine! thanks tourby for making another fine piece in rep history

Thanks to Francisco, I did it to my 187 looking really good now: Raised datewheel is just printed on thick paper - no one will notice the difference:

Update number two: After a second caseset , I'm almost done with modding the Pam 194. Updated the He-Valve with one of a Pam 243: Next Step was a new Datewheel from Taka - hell what a difference to the rep one. The bezel has to be recoloured as the finish is not that even. Last step was to relume the watch, hands and subdial have to be lumed - I ran out of time on this one. I'll post a separate thread when everything is finished... so long andei
