Well said. Either outcome, no reason to buy a gen. Biggest tell for me is the crown sits too close to the case, its marginal nitpicking at best but hey, its there on the v3.

Looking at the screwdriver i think you screwed up the keyless works, you need a screw driver to match the key like slots. that way you can't push the button in too far.

It is indeed fugly, good thing, it has a day night indicator, wich is offcourse a must, how the hell can someone tell. Shame they didn't use the happy sun dial tho'

Probably a press on bezel. Don't have any panerai experience but it is a common design. All rolex models without turning bezel have a press on design. You probably will need a bezel press.

Are you sure this watch originates from BK? BK fixes these issues. The WM9 etched crown is also very hard to see with the naked eye.
