  1. Did not know that. But, in that case it would be a wise thing to do, considering BK has a far better CQ. Run Forrest!
  2. I wouldnt bother BK with it, since he got nothing to do with it -offcourse he would help out if needed. Give it time.
  3. Yes, when you sent several emails in one day, you are overreacting. Im not sure you are convinced george is 100% legit and thrustworthy ... Just relax take a beer and take a bite. Give it some time. BTW did you read this page http://www.watchmaker9.tv/contact.htm ?
  4. What a load of bullocks. He is right on the clown thing tho @Hike That's what i mean, those are the true pams.
  5. IMO they where never hot. Few vintage ones excluded. If it ain't got no plexi, it ain't sexy!
  6. Probably worth more in the original pocket watch case. However i love it, and love is as we all know priceless.
  7. Iam a gold guy and i love it. Also the open six/nine, vintage coronet crown, lugholes, its just sexy.
  8. What Narikaa probably means is, you are a nitpicking whiner. And yes, you are a nitpicking whiner. But you also have the right to whine and nitpick. Especially if offerd as a service by the dealer. Good luck and keep us posted mate!
  9. Yes, like these.
  10. Just stick with the stick marker dials on datejust reps. The arab and roman numbered dials are always crooked. Just look at the 11 marker. Also due to lack of getting the markers on straight, the lume is also crooked. Oh and yeah, go for the asian eta.
  11. asstonishing! seems like there is no problem Domenico can't fix. Congrats on a solid watch
  12. Both Joshes links show true tourbillon movements, now there is some disccussion on wheter it is a true 'flying' tourby or not. But these cannot be compared to the 'open heart' visible balance wheel type of movements offered by offrei or cousins. There are quite a few more expansive chinese made movements one of them is a minute repeater, i would love to see a nice rep with that movement. Both offrei and cousins aswel as other suppliers seem to carry only the common more affordable movements.
  13. ETA Clone or gen ETA, i've never seen a wobble on direct drive seconds movements. Perhaps you got a high beat DG movement. You should open the case and post a pic.
  14. Well, label it as you will. Call it the circle of trust FAIC. Me personally does not interprete the label cartel as negative with regard to the context namely the rep business. I've never complained about rep prices. You either buy or you don't. Its a privilage to have access to this stuff anyways. Also it does not take away the fact that these three have proven to be trustworthy and willing to work with you if there is a problem. They are by no means scammers of any kind. But still its a business and business above and beyond the law. There will be cartel forming. Thinking it isn't is a bit naive if you ask me. Anyho.. cheers to our three trusted musketeers
  15. And King, the three combined aka 'the cartel'. All connected.
  16. Agree 100%, don't know what happend to H. however he was/is a top class bloke in the same league and region as old EL.
  17. When you have to shoot, shoot, don't talk.
  18. Its the luck of the draw. These 7750 movements with modified and thus indirect drive seconds hand are prone to problems and are jerky per difinition. You can send it back, but who knows what you will recieve.
  19. Model is a Breitling for Bentley. However there is no faux tourbillon version in the genuine world. The subdials are a faux. No such thing as a display back... and there is a lot more...
  20. So, guess we have a rat on the inside.
  21. Lello made a limited number. Best bet would be to contact josh or andrew.
  22. DW is much cheaper.
  23. Bro! you kinda ruined the irony of it all... Anyho' the guy has a passion. Passion has no reason. I've got 2 exact same 16013's love em both, keep on keeping both and wear both, though not at the same time. That's just a bit
  24. Cant remeber who said this: "Anything worth doing is worth overdoing." But its true. Looks like a perfect and sane collection to me
  25. Well the crown guard needs a little shavin' other then that, lookin sweet
