  1. Shouldn't this one say GMT MASTER III on the dial?
  2. I don't exactly understand what you mean. From the pictures is looks like a seperate spacer ring.
  3. Its crap, its a clever way to charge swiss eta price for a clone. Add some glue, double the charge.
  4. Offcourse it is none of our business. Besides hosting and software people tend to forget hours. Cheers mates!
  5. Looks like a cheap chinese fake Or maybe its just the pic
  6. With gens, its same as with reps. Buy the dealer, then pick your watch.
  7. My point is now dealers have clone priced same as so called "swiss eta". Take the clone whenever you can, but don't pay "swiss eta" price for what is known beforehand as a clone. Offcourse, "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." whether it be surplus/used or clone eta. Atleast you did not pay the premium.
  8. Your pic shows the common asian 21j, not the new folex clone. Regarding the clone; the cartel charges the same amount of $$$ for the 3135-clone and the swiss eta. While it's all a gamble i would take the swiss eta above the 3135-clone.
  9. These lemania copys have true moonhpase, which mechanism used i don't know. Atleast its not day/night.
  10. C'mon Jeanny, quit livin' on dreams. If it where possible i'd have the rep factory clone me a zillion times and takeover the world.
  11. Excelent info. I run the mangnetic test on serveral watches i have at my work. Breitling BCE v1: Bracelet: magnet wouldnt stick. case: magnet sticks although not very solid a bit of a shake and the magnet drops. WM9 yachtmaster: case and bracelet same as the BCE case, sticks though ever so slightly DSN PAM 27b: Same as with the WM9 and BCE case. The buckle however would not know nothing from the magnet. Looking forward to the next episode of mythbusters.
  12. Maybe i've had too many beers, but i dont see any spelling mistake. @Samurai Congrats bro. Nice tourby

Its not very well known indeed, however the brand offers excelent quality for the dollar, Designs often inspired on the major brands.
  14. The issue is the added transfer gears taking the counters across the dial. The base movement (a7750) has minute counter at 12 and seconds at 9.
  15. If its a new watch purchased from one of the dealers, i think you should contact them. A replacement seems in order. On the other hand, if you can manage to get it properly serviced it might not be worth going the back to China route. Good luck!
  16. AFAIK datejust-wise a lot of dealers do custom, though some dealers just find the piece your after instead of really custom put it together. Ruby can source anything you want as long as it is not a fantasy model. But as said, pretty much the whole cartel can get it for you.
  17. Well, i am a sucker for gold (theeth ) Thats one helluva project. Lovely piece!!!
  18. I will add to that, during shipping anything can happen. I've had 2 occasions where the movement did not make it well through shipping, both from reliable sellers. One was a val 23 copy movement frowm DW, the other was a 7750 modified seconds @ 6 replacement movement from Homer. Things can go wrong during shipping. I think a lot of members don't calculate this factor. For the price paid (140 shipped) you did pretty wel considering what dealers are asking these days, Eventhough the current state of the watch.
  19. You lost me when you start talking abouts points bud. However, your watch should have continues second at 3, hour totalizer at 6, minute totalizer at 9, centre chrono seconds as per genuine.
  20. For the dog of love, and the sake of all humankind, i'd sure hope they will discover my 6 litre v12 benz before they digg up a friggin' prius. They might be getting the wrong picture
  21. Great build, love the dial on thisone!
  22. Great articles. It's like slingin' some [censored] around to see if something fruititously comes of it. Looking forward to ryyannon's observations
  23. Just had my fair share of bald beaver. I'll just have the snake. Thank you!
  24. Your talking about the snake, not *cough* Gio's signature pic, right?
