  1. Lately, I see many pics of the AP diver in action. I have ordered mine and still awaiting delivery. Seeing these pics make me wish to get mine sooner! lol
  2. Thank you Superposter.. that was exactly the info I was looking for Thanks Doc. Just curious.. you heard anything about the V4 yet?
  3. Hi all, I am an AP noob and I am keen to buy the AP diver. I would like to know the differences between the V2 and the V3. Obviously, the V3, being a later release, is expected to show improvements over the V2. I read the thread in this section posted by another member here, but its mostly about comparison of the V3 with gen. That is an excellent thread, but I could not really find the information I needed. I know the V3 is kinda scarce in supply now and I would like to know if I could settle for the V2 if need be. Thank you in advance for any help rendered, guys! LK
  4. where did you get the montauk highway in gold case? I notice some nice variations of your collection not found commonly. nice collection!
  5. The misalignment could be due to the bezel not being "in place".. as someone mentioned, even a little turn of the bezel would solve the issue, IF it could be turned. If unsure, rejecting it is a safer option.
  6. I know the FM 5850 is about 40mm from top to bottom of case. Width wise, I am not too sure. Lug width is wither 19 or 20mm.
  7. Very nice, i am sure you dont need the Montauk Highway, you need to sell it to me lol
  8. my gosh, am i supposed to say Me 5? lol I am interested to see it though!
  9. Nice watch! I would like to know if the dial is accurate vs the gen, any idea? The CF bezel looks good from the pics.
  10. Your dealer would be able to get you replacement ones easily.. I got extra my screw + cap set from King.
  11. thks Greekgod.. i am looking to buy this actually but I do not want to end up getting a beta or V1 version, only for the "correct" version to be released after my purchase lol
  12. To the AP Gurus here I have been checking out the rep AP Marcus, and it seems to me that the dial, crown and pusher colors are somewhat off.. I am not sure if its due to lighting, or did they get the colors wrong. The Rep AP Marcus (From King Watches) http://www.kingshowbox.com/images/201110/goods_img/6664_P_1319959091790.JPG The Gen AP Marcus http://www.philippinewatchclub.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2422 The gen color seems to be much closer to red while the rep color is closer to orange. Can someone who has the expertise please guide me thank you. My thanks also for your patience in putting up with my somewhat pointless question. LK
  13. I think the thread starter is harmless in his intentions, though I am not sure about what he really wants to know.
  14. I am sure this trend would permeate the dealers factory.. ultimately, they would have to supply watches with the correct pusher shape. Hang in there yo!
  15. guys, I don't think this is "standard" as of now (but i believe ultimately it would be!). If you do order the ROO from King Watches, you need to request for the pusher mod. Connie would understand what you are asking for. She has done this mod for me gratis as an experiment but I do not know if she would be charging for this for subsequent requests. If enough of us ask for this, its quite natural that it would progress to a standard for all rep ROOs with this pusher shape I assume. Of cos for models like Survivor, Shaq, T3, Barichello etc this wouldnt apply given the different pusher types. Cheers LK
  16. I have some good news for AP ROO affectionados. King Watches (Connie) is now able to supply AP ROOs with the correct pusher shape. Yes the standard ROO rep flaws still exist, but this little modification brings it a little closer toward that perfect replica. Pardon me for the lousy photos, but in them, you could clearly see the shape of the pusher is a bit rounded at the top, like gen, as compared to totally flat like the standard rep ROO. Just a little something to share, and hopefully it brightens someone's monday.
  17. The earlier versions of AP reps have seconds at the 9 o'clock position.
  18. Speaking of the Don Ramon, I understand the dial is supposed to be a "chestnut brown" color according to the official AP description. It looks more like Grey to me honestly. Can someone clarify what the color of the gen dial should be, and how close the rep is? Thank you very much
