  1. Looks like a great rep to my eye. That lume is still too green in though. It should look ivory white in strong daylight even when fully charged. I had one of these reps and the lume was way too green. But that's a minor thing really... go for this one... it looks great. Here's my gen (to compare other details). More pics. http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/119077-gen-06-steelfish-back-from-the-ad/
  2. What a beauty. Congrats for acquiring the Legend.
  3. Nice wristies. Breitling for me as well.
  4. Yeah... that's TAG's official wallpaper. Not my wrist.
  5. @Chronoluv: That AP is MASSIVE! I'm wearing this blue beauty.
  6. To each their own of course but I love the Breitling Professional II bracelet. One of the best sports watch bracelets. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
  7. Fish is my favorite diver watch. I have the blue gen. Fish reps are great but when it comes to details they don't come even close. LINK
  8. Buy a new $20K gen full gold Rolex and you're lucky to get $6K back after 10 years. Buy a gen (older) stainless steel GMT or Submariner now and you will always get your money back (esp. if you mercifully forget the inflation). Buy a $300 rep now and trash it when it breaks after 10 years. Who cares... it's just $300. That's basically what the rep game is about. Enjoy the forgeries of expensive brands for pocket money. Why would anyone stress about "losing value" for something that's so cheap in the first place?
  9. Doesn't look too great to me, either. The pearl looks like a pimple that's about to burst. Spend a little more and get a decent Fish replica like this: http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=16_144&products_id=9241 Much nicer watch than Colt (gen or rep).
  10. Favorite white face today.
  11. There are hundreds of reps. Do you have a link to that particular watch? It would have been easier to comment if we actually knew how the watch looked like.
  12. Very nice. The initial run of the SMP Chrono rep came with perfect ETA dw. Mine has only genuine insert installed. Even the dial wave pattern is superb. I wear my SMP Chrono every week and it has been a reliable since 2006. Not as HC as yours but a fantastic rep... one of the best ever. http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/113817-tribute-to-my-favorite-replica-watch-seamaster-chronograph/
  13. Good thread idea. A watch like Freddy's white dial GMT or Ubi's vintage hardcore Daytona builds are valuable... and WILL be valuable. But something like 16610 franken... I doubt it. It's too comtemporary and common watch. The last gen steel sports sapphire models will increase their value for sure... and already have. The old designs are much more desirable for many... like me for example. Most new Rollies are only good if you want to know what time it is in Gayville.
  14. I'm with Robert today. The PEPSI.

    My new 16610

Our 16610's have become so good that it's almost impossible to tell them from the gen anymore. Even the SELs are great these days. I would buy the gen but my rep is simply too good. That's a nice problem to have.
  16. THIS is still the only decent GMTIIc replica ever produced. It's not as accurate as WM9/TC 16610 but fairly decent forgery anyway.
