  1. Possibly. But someone can also have a inaccurate scale. Here's the weight & dimension chart once again:
  2. There's only one push-pin. The one that's next to the clasp. It's very tight but it comes out. Give it some hammer and keep the faith.
  3. You did it again!!! Now that's a monstrous and handsome SeaWolf!!!
  4. I grabbed this one from the box in the morning. My "stealth watch".
  5. You did some research before your first post. That's rare. Good start! About the Omega GMT: I have wondered exactly the same thing. It would be much nicer with the silver ETA movement. Dealers don't make any changes to these watches, they come straight from the factory like that. Sometimes there's no logic with the reps. Nobody has figured out yet why they always put the dreaded misaligned bezel to the Seamaster replicas, either. They just do, and we have to live with that (and modify the watches to our liking).
  6. Excellent comparison!!! Thanks for sharing!
  7. Glad you got it fixed Iztok. Enjoy the great watch!!!
  8. PO needs to be orange. That color is synonymous with it... and it's a fun watch. Black is very nice but it looks too typical.
  9. Thanks for the Ebay link Alex. Lots of pics there, saved them all. It's really a shame that Zenith don't produce watches like this anymore. All their new models leave me cold (design wise).
  10. The bright, brisky colors is *exactly* that do the trick for me with this watch. Plus the rugged stainless steel "tool watch" appearance... plus all the details that just scream quality... plus very unique appearance. Just look at the thick, red stopwatch seconds hand, crown and pushers. All pure perfection... I'm in love.
  11. I know there will never be a rep of this watch so maybe I'll buy a genuine one of these days. I dunno what's so attractive in it... but when I saw picture of this watch it was love at first sight.
  12. Thanks Alex. Yeah, I'm still on a honeymoon with it.
  13. Yeah, it must be one of the trickiest watches to photograph. It looks lighter blue, greyish or even very dark blue, depending how the light hits it. This is a "jumbo wristshot" I managed to shoot today. I guess it's the best and most "photo realistic" TAG pic I've taken.
  14. They'll never get it 100% correct, it's a rep you know. Either you buy genuine parts and modify your watch, buy the genuine PO... or live with the flaws. Yes, the new logo they have used is completely off. C'est la vie.
  15. I dunno... the bracelet and hands were better in the 3rd Gen that I briefly owned. But face it: 4th Gen can be modified to be 99% accurate. It's excellent replica and the bracelet and hands don't even bother me the slightest. Nobody will ever notice. It's fundamentally a great replica and that's enough for me. It's one of those reps that makes me feel 100% comfortable wherever I wear it. Go for this new one if you don't yet own the 4th Gen. The logo is probably positioned a little better on this "new" rep. But it's not a "5th Gen", it's the same watch. They have just moved the logo (which makes me think the factories are reading these boards... or at least receive our feedback through the dealers).
  16. Thanks Alex. I'm not "anti-PAM"... and perhaps one day I'll even own one. Nice watches. When I came to the watch forums I never liked Breitling, either. Now they're among my favourites. Never say never... but right now I'm not too interested in them. But those with ss bracelets appeal to me much more. About the 1680: That was a gorgeous watch. I let it go because I almost never wore it... it was just sitting in the watch box. I've had 5 Rolex Submariners but they never saw any wrist time. Why, I don't know. I prefer the GMT Master... those crispy colors and all. And somehow I feel too young to wear a watch that's (supposedly) older than me. I will probably purchase a Sub again one of these days though. I never learn.
  17. Since everyone's been posting their collections I updated mine with some old/new pictures. Some watches are gone though (sniff). I need to take a new group shot one of these days. This is completely useless thread... just some eyecandy for everyone's enjoyement.
  18. HE placement is exact on the 4th Gen. Perfect. I don't know why people say it's off because it's not. I have compared the gen and rep side-to-side and there's absolutely no difference. HEV is lower on PO compared to standard SMP line. I believe this watch has it right too, it appears to be the exact same rep as the 4th Gen (save the logo placement). Gen:
  19. It looks to be the same watch as the 4th Gen with just the logo raised that 0.005mm. Now it looks to be 0.0025mm too high. But who really cares? It's not even visible. The hands are still too small (3rd Generation was better in that department). Here's the 4th Gen logo placement compared to the real 42.5mm one. Personally, I always found this "flaw" completely meaningless.
  20. Chronomat is one of my favourite watches ever. I would buy it in a heartbeat.
  21. Check the pdf file that's attached in the review. That shows how the bracelet is constructed. Gen and rep have exactly the same construction. There are small screws inside the bracelet.
