Just saw another PAM 389 for sale on another forum and you can clearly see that PT sent a different watch than the one from the QC pictures. Just got an email from Ryan (replied within 12 hours) and he promised me also QC pics within 3 days. Will give him a try.

I have been getting answers on my email the last week, even if they weren't what I wanted to hear. Ordered a PAM 389 and a AP Chrono, but the PAM seems to be still missing. Maybe they shouldn't advertise as "available" if it isn't. And when I asked for one of the ZF T-shirts I was told I have to order from 2/14 - 2/17 (today) ... not cool. I am about to cancel the order and re-order just so they have to give me the fee@king shirt s I can give it to my son ... PS: On another note: I just ordered a Tudor BB from Sora at shinewatch over at RWI and her service was outstanding, Even shipped the watch DHL so I would get it in time. Great communications as well.

The watch is beautiful, but why they would write "vintage" on the dial eludes me. "OCEAN ONE" on the top and maybe a depth rating on the bottom would have looked a lot better IMHO

I would like to start accepting certain crypto currencies (BitCoin and LiteCoin). Have to look into this.

I have built a few 6542a (using the Silix case) and the Clark crystal always worked fine on these. If you can find one that has slightly thicker sidewalls you should be fine. Other option is that the retaining ring has just worn out over time. I got some of these from wholesaleoutlet on ebay.

I think crypto currencies definitely will have a place in our near future as al alternative to regular currencies. I personally am considering accepting Bitcoin and Litecoin as payment on my website. How about some nice croc Bitcoin wallets

I have found out that there are slight differences in the hole sizes and distances from different makers. But by slightly enlarging the holes (I use a small screwdriver and leave it in one whole while I screw down the other screw) it usually works. Hope this helps
