  1. Good news for all BB owners that want one (or two ) of my straps. A great member has offered to send me his watch including strap to use as a template. I will have it here next Wednesday and can make straps from then on. For all CONUS members: if you get your order in before next Wednesday I will be able to ship the straps from the US right after Thanksgiving !!!
  2. 5513 on 3-piece leather Nato: BB King on Chuckker style strap:
  3. Finally got my sample watch back from the watch smith (still not working BTW - anyone has a crown and stem for a BB King?). But here are the first pics of the straps mounted on the watch. I will get my 44.5mm version this week and then I will also offer straps for all the Big Bangs. Group shot: Black Nubuk: Grey Croc: Grey-brown lizard: And Chukker style: Price for the straps is: $129 plus $10 shipping including strap pouch. Feedback welcome PS: Anybody has a RG 48mm? I would give you a strap of your choice if you let me borrow it for a week to take some pics

  5. OK, I reworked the strap and improved it around the lug area. Now it fits tighter around the wrist. I have been wearing it for the last two days and it is very comfortable. The following pics will give you a better idea of the strap construction. I think this strap solves most of the problems other typical nato straps have and will work with any watch except fixed lugs models. I can make it in any width. Price for one like in the pics is $129 including pouch and shipping. Photos:
  6. No time for a watch pic, but I made a set of new straps for Hublot watches Black Nubuk Croc: Black Shark: Black Croc with gold stiching: Brown Croc with gold stitching: Olive grey lizard: I am still finishing a grey croc (for the Earl Grey) and a brown shark with gold stitching. And because I love the strap on the Chukker Bang I tried to make my own version: Now I just need to get my new watches from Josh and Sead so I can play with them...
  7. I love it. Maybe a brushed finish for the bezel though (just my personal taste). Great work
  8. No watch but I finished a really nice strap today: Vintage mahogany croc with bronze GPF-Mod buckle
  9. I will fine tune this version a little bit to reduce the gap between wrist and strap a bit more and then they should become a regular part of my collection.
  10. I have always liked Nato straps - on others, because they never really looked good on my wrist. Especially the uneven distribution of material, the clasp sitting too high on the outside of the wrist and the bulky back-loop of the tail made all of the natos, zulus, 3 and 5 rings get no wrist time worth mentioning. So I finally decided to try to find a solution and after many attempts I came up with this first prototype. It still needs a little tampering - mainly in the area of the loops of the center piece, but I think I might be on to something: It's not clearly visible on these first pics, but the tail has the thickness of a regular strap and the buckle sits on the middle of the bottom of the wrist like a conventional strap. Both side parts, one holding the buckle and the other one being the tail are permanently attached to the double rings of the center piece and pull down on them equally. Your feedback is appreciated !!!
  11. Haven't posted in a while, but my new vintage grey leather military strap for my JLC got me inspired:
  12. Enlarge the holes one size and you should be fine. Any shoe repair place can do it.
  13. Might be. I don't know under what name DW sells on ebay. I also got one of his Submariner cases which is quite promising (especially the crown guards). If it is DW maybe you can order the endlinks directly from him....
  14. I just received a set of 571 aftermarket endlinks from an ebay seller and IMHO they fit great on the DW case and the gen bracelet: Sorry for the poor iPhone pics but my Canon G10 died today Here is the ebay link: http://www.ebay.co.u...ME:L:OC:US:3160
  15. A different InGod dial, but I think it was definitely worth changing: Sorry, I just couldn't decide which pic would show the dial better. Here is the original MBW dial and the horrible pearl:
  16. AP Diver on my new black rubberized canvas strap:
  17. The Phong crystal is great and you can send him an offer and get it cheaper (I bought mine with the bezel and I think I paid around $50): http://www.ebay.com/itm/REPLACEMENT-CRYSTAL-25-128-FOR-TUDOR-REF-7031-7032-/180879705390?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a1d45452e
  18. Is this normal for there or is it unusually early ?
  19. LOL - she is starting to take a closer look at what I am wearing. She is liking my GWSD, but luckily it would look like a car rim on her skinny wrists. Her birthday is coming up and I got a nice white ceramic Chanel J12 ladies size ready for her with the full box set and papers
  20. The heat was just unbearable the last week, so we decided to pack up and visit a friends coffee farm in the mountains in the North of Nicaragua. For the most parts the roads where pretty good: The farm is right by a lake and it's soooo quiet: Chris the owner just had found a monkey on the side of the road and they quickly became inseparable: On the way back we left the main roads - big mistake - 4 hours through creek beds and worse to cover 60 miles, but we got rewarded with one of the best views in the country: The new girlfriend really enjoyed the trip as well: Thought I would share this with you for all who live in urban areas and don't get out much
  21. I kind of forgot about my pencil-lead PAM, but this new shark strap is re-igniting the love:
