  1. I got my girl a Chanel J12 (white ceramic with gold bezel ring) and she loves it, seven sleeps with it
  2. I am driving to Managua to see a concert. I will reply to all PMs tomorrow.
  3. After a busy week I got something to show for. Some of these are already on their way to new homes (and some still would like a new home): Group shots: Single pics: HBB Earl Grey RG on brown croc/gold sttich Matt black alligator (super soft) Olive-grey croc/gold stitch for AP ROO (should be nice on a Don Ramon) Blue croc/white stitch for AP ROO Bright green lizard for 20mm lugs Distressed blue for 20mm lugs Skyblue-pink gator print for the ladies: My favorite: tree bark looking vintage (I need a PAM 243 for this one) Supersoft light tan for 24mm Woven stamped leather for 24mm Black Chrome for 24mm Real leather weave for 20mm Distressed brown for 22mm Also made one in charcoal for a customer ( I want this one when I get a Tudor Black Bay) Made my first gummy croc re-fit: creme gummy croc Faded green suede for 20mm Vintage black Gator print I hope you enjoyed watching
  4. No, but I can make you one Honestly it's not that easy and an AP strap is definitely not the strap you want to learn on
  5. I keep making new straps for this baby since it works with almost everything I throw on it: sand colored gummy croc today
  6. I got the black one from those three. They are nice, only thing I didn't like is that they are a bit thin at the lugs and somewhat disappear. Mesh looks great BTW Still have mine on this one:
  7. Wow R. That red sub looks killer...
  8. It's a V2 and VAC lumed it and did the AR I will try to put the shark on, but I am super busy today and it has silver-grey stitching which takes a bot away from the tactical theme.... And as we all know: strap changing on the AP D is a bi@tch ....
  9. I apologize to all that have contacted me for not getting back to them, but I was busy all day with the new materials (and it's my GF's b-day). I will get back to you first thing tomorrow morning (gotta jump in the shower now...) R: Yes your strap went out. K: I will get back to you in the morning...
  10. As I said I went on a leather shopping binge. Member Akira (RWG) hooked me up with a great supplier in NYC and after I made the son of the owner some straps he allowed me to go in their warehouse and pick out what I wanted. Their scrap pile alone would fill a full size truck and held a lot of treasures as you will see. Seeing all these cool pieces (there is stuff I had never heard of before) inspired me to try a few new lines for my collection. Have a look: First step: sorting out over 700 pieces by color and style (my lame dog Rosy didn't even lift a paw to help out): I have been receiving a lot of interest in Nubuk Croc straps so I was happy to find some nice pieces and even ordered more which will come at the end of the year: How about some nubuk hornback croc: Also found a lot of regular croc pieces: In black: The matt croc hide on the left is to die for. Excellent quality and super soft and brown: and grey and olive: Also found a good selection of lizard skins: And some ostrich and snake: I am usually not a big fan of embossed hides, but this time I saw some incredible stuff: And some cool vintaged pieces: And some camo-printed leathers: High quality suede in different colors: And some great pieces that will enable me to make some nice straps for our ladies (which I have to admit have been neglected in the past): Some crazy stuff which I am planning to turn into bracelets: I understand that this might not interest everybody but I know some of you enjoy preselecting the materials for their straps. I should have some first samples later this week.
  11. Freddy: Amazing shot. My newest addition: AP Diver Tactical Edition on black nubuk croc:
  12. First of all a big thanks to Neckyzips and also VAC who made this possible. When I saw a picture of a DLC-coated Diver I knew I had to have one. Neckyzips offered to inlcude the watch in his DLC run and in the meantime I sent the dial, hands (which were replaced in the end) and crystal to VAC for his AR and lume treatment. While waiting for everything to come together (it took a few months) I made several straps in anticipation, but in the end the black nubuk croc easily outdid all other options with the shark coming in a close second. Take a look and let me know what you think:
  13. It's the Ice Bang Lite from Sead. No tint on the crystal. Great value to be honest.
  14. Having a little of a Hublot-trip going on. Today's arrivals: Ice Bang Lite from Supermirrors Big Bang Earl Grey RG from Perfect Clones Big Bang King 44mm from Puretime Sorry for the bad iPhone pics. Have to go and get a new camera tomorrow, my good old Canon G10 finally died All of the rep straps sucked the big one with the plain rubber on the Ice Bang being the worst (smells like moth balls). The gummy croc on the Earl Grey looked like somebody took a photo of croc hide and glued it in there. The ribbed rubber on the BBK is actually acceptable, but - as on the other two as well - the clasp is not very well made. There must be a better clasp out there. I have seen and touched one. So I decided to change out the straps right away: First impressions: Earl Grey: I am not a huge fan of gold watches per se, but I think I will like this one a lot better once I install my black brushed ceramic bezel. The watch feels solid, chrono functions work well. Blue tint on the AR is definitely noticeable and a bit of a turn off. Big Bang King 44mm: This one I ordered as my new daily beater and hopefully water watch (we will see how that works out...). Heavy solid feel, I really like the solid caseback. Seconds hand has a bit of a stutter. Strong blue tint on the AR. Good lume. I think I might order the version from Kurvasit that comes with the CF dial and the red seconds hand. All iin all I am pretty happy though. Ice Bang: This one takes the cake. While being the least expensive of all three and feeling just a tad lighter and the chrono pushers have a different feel (but not uncomfortable or cheap), this one IMHO looks the best and has no tint in the AR at all. I am no expert of Hublot watches so I can make no remarks regarding the accuracy of the watches. But all in all these watches feel very well made and definitely above the average replica fare.
  15. I was asked to show some pics of the straps mounted on the watch. Here you go: Black Nubuk Croc: Brown Nubuk Croc: Grey Croc:

  19. I really like the car, it's very comfortable even on our bad roads here, but the gas mileage is ridiculous ....
  20. Toyota Land Cruiser, weighs like 2.5 tons and would have maimed anything in it's way. I got really lucky
  21. Hublot BBK and ABS system power regulator failure at 140 km/h: Off the road going into a 270 degree spin. Thank god there was nobody on the side of the road:
