IMHO: The Puretime case is a good way to start and it comes with the proper numbers on the case, an acceptable movement with roulette date wheel and a fairly decent stretch-rivet bracelet. Here is a comparison shot with a gen case (on top): The bezel is from NDT, which is a bit expensive, but JoeyB has a great alternative for the insert ...

If the movement holder is tight enough it should work (if the dial is properly attached to the movement and the movement to the case).

Making some straps for a collector/dealer in Miami and tried on one of the first ones on my MBW 5513:

It is way better and has a completely different shape. The DW has round upper edge while the Phong has a sharper bevel more like the genuine C-128

Maybe Phong gave me a better price because I also bought the black bezel from him. I paid $35 for the crystal. And it was a tight fit but with a little bit of force the Phong bezel went 99.9% down which you really can't see. The DW bezel does not take neither gen nor Phong crystal without sanding it to make the inner diameter larger.

Love the chrono. What are the dimensions?

I had a gen 128 that I screwed up when installing the DW bezel, so when I get the black Phong bezel it didn't fit, but Phong sent me an aftermarket crystal that is very close to the original and costs about 20% of it. They are on ebay (look for the 7031 bezel and you find them):

Seen it on VRF for months. Maybe too expensive ..... or aftermarket as Freddy said, but it does look good for that. PS: I actually think it's real, Still expensive though
