  1. I feel your frustration with respect to PAMs. I really like PAmman's idea, but that's gonna take some time to realise - if feasable at all. However, out of the box the 'ultimate' 111E (not the H) from Angus seems pretty close to the gen - provided you don't have to show the back. Changing the CG (lever pin should be off centre and the top of the lever is too sharp) and an additional relume will make this the easiest/cheapest way to go.
  2. I've seen more Panerai gens that have this kind of magnification. Rolex magnification seems to be much bigger.
  3. If this is a rep I want one The 'ultimate' rep still has an aweful positioned 'L Swiss L'. This one looks good to me. Also a nice cyclops, big font and recessed subdial. I'd say this is a gen.
  4. Thanks The Zigmeister! Sometimes a picture says more than a thousands words.......
  5. Very elegant Vic! And you know me.. I'd much rather see this than a Fiddy on your wrist
  6. FRIDAY Tag Heuer Link Chrono Returned from Canada yesterday

  8. What about a nice dress watch? Deville Chrono
  9. And this is what I expect from a lume job! To me there's still only one who can do this ..... Lani, wear it well!
  10. Lorenz Theatro Chrono Oris Big Crown Telemeter
  11. So that's why this thread was gone for hours and not because TWP deleted it? edit: re-reading TT's 2nd post answered my question
  12. I totally agree. Even more disturbing is that this post was removed........... I'm glad the Mods put it back.
  13. Agree with what the others say about the 2 and the 10 index. But it also looks as if you spilled some lume on the side of the hands. And there's a little black dot on the 45 seconds marker of the subdial. Are you sure that what we see above the 'SWISS' and around the 5, 7 and 3 indexes is dust? Furthermore the base of the hands near the cannon pinion seems a bit scratched, but could also be dust. edit: too bad that you chose to delete the whole thread, since I appreciated your openess at first...... Good to see the Mods got it back. edit 2: my appologies for jumping conclusions too fast. The mods had set this thread invisible for some hours.
  14. Watching Sabrina there's no bether choice for a man than to be geared up with the Fiddy

  17. Sorry to hear this, Laz. Take care!
  18. Last week there was a thread about manual winding automatic movements (www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=66792&st=0&p=395045&#entry395045). It is strongly advised not to do this, since it can eventually damage the click wheel. Only when the movement has completely stopped running you can give it some gentle winds until it starts running again. Then stop manual winding and either wear it on your wrist or put it on an automatic winder.
  19. My experiences with Angus' after sales have always been excellent. But sometimes it takes a few days to get a reply. I think in this case the relatively long absence has to do with the backlog of CNY mail. However, he or his shipper did notify me a few days ago that 2 packages have been send out to me.
  20. SATURDAY PAM0250 on TWB SUNDAY PAM0111 on Kaktus Drifter (Thnx Golfman )
