  1. I'm looking for a CAD modeler (CONUS only) to hire for a custom endlink project. Tasks would include: measuring the lug area of a midcase and modeling endlinks to fit (with a supplied bracelet). Shoot me a pm if you (or anyone you know) can do this
  2. Can they please shoot me a pm? He hasn't responded in 3 weeks and I don't know wtf is going on
  3. Can you really do this?? I hope they'd need more than just some banking info to reset your password. Also, you'd be sent an email notification, so you'd know if anyone was trying to 'hax' into your account.
  4. Anyone on here that knows his way around an airbrush shoot me a pm
  5. You guys... are too much. If anything happened I would surely keep my calm. Like this:
  6. Right? haha. It's going to be done. Just need to figure out how. Plan on restoring the paint missing on the backside of the insert, along with mending bits of the bakelite.
  7. Haven't found any answers online.. I'm scared
  8. Now of course I'm wondering if it might be a little cheaper to modify an existing pair of endlinks. Finding a pair that are too large and whittling them down would probably be easier. Just so you have a visual, check out the photo below. You can see the huge gap between the watch head and end link, as the fifty fathoms have pretty long lugs. I would want the endlink flush against the watchhead naturally.
  9. I don't have a design, just have the "look" I'm going for. I'm using an omega folded link braclet, so will be making a stretched-out/wider version of these end links: http://www.ebay.com/itm/380671788053?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Any info would be greatly appreciated
  10. Hey all, Looking to add some custom fabricated endlinks to my most recent aquisition: any idea of where this can be done? I've googled a bunch, but have found nothing solid yet.. (Preferably in CONUS).
  11. My vote goes for Kime's 6200 Silix Build. He performed some pretty difficult 'surgery' on that piece. If you know what a stock silix big crown case looks like, you'll agree that this build is a masterpiece.
  12. You're in good hands with dbane! When it comes to Rolex cases/modding, he knows his sheet! Guy is a walking encyclopedia
  13. Beautiful upgrade! Nice buy mate
  14. Phong has good cases (that will still need modding), but that's about it! I'd suggest getting Michael Young 1680 hands if you're going to go aftermarket. It's tough to find an accurate gen-feet placement red dial. To me they just don't exist. I believe Misiekped has a 1570 date disc for sale in the parts section that is appropriate for your build
  15. You've got a good point here. Maybe there should be a few tiers? (e.g. Under $500 builds, Under $1000 builds, Under $3000 builds, etc)
  16. Damn you for selling this Y. Damn youuuuuuuu!
  17. "Pet hates " I always thought the phrase "Pet Peeves" came from the UK? Either way, beautiful build! Always love seeing the progress pics
  18. Just noticing how almost everyone opts out of setting the date when changing watches
  19. I love it how only 1 watch has the correct date on this thread. Too much work changing it imo
  20. I honestly thought this was Nanuq's piece at first. Then I spotted the insert, and wondered why he swapped his - that's when I scrolled over to his username and realized it was you! Great build Here's my 1665 with a SRSD Whoop Dial
  21. Just so you know, my earlier post was in jest. I would NOT reccomend getting that dial. Printing quality is [censored] poor. See here: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/173293-yikes/
  22. You could get this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Black-Blue-Deepsea-Dial-Rolex-Sea-Dweller-/231340764188?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0
