  1. In every picture that i have seen from the movieset so far he was wearing the AT.
  2. Went through a ton of Craig pictures and noticed that prior to starting filming Skyfall, Craig has been wearing his private first generation blue dial Aqua Terra a lot. Usually he's wearing one of his many Rolex watches. I wonder if he asked for an Aqua Terra for Skyfall and they made a blue dialed version of the new generation..
  3. Wow, I didn't know. Interesting that they not only switched to Omega but also ditched the diver.. (Photoshop) 38.5 mm on Craig
  4. http://tc-submariner.blogspot.de/2012/04/510-tc-sub-v-series-version-iv.html
  5. A watch loosing 3 minutes a day isn't normal. But on meth it is. Meth. Not even once.
  6. Don't exactly know how different the current ones are, but what you could get done is service the movement , gen crown and tube, slightly sand the rehaut engraving, slightly sand off the insert so it sits deeper, maybe a superlume, datewheel overlay. AR coating on the underside of the cyclops, exchange the crystal gasket if they still use the bad/too small ones..
  7. Modem just went up in flames. Like the Big Crown Tudor and the No Date Sub.
  8. The problem with handwinding 3 hand autos is not if there is a clutch or not, but the transmission of the gears when handwinding vs. winding by rotor. You are putting extreme stress on the teeth of the gears when winding it by hand. AFAIK.
  9. If I am not mistaken there was a post by the Zigmeister that basically said that handwinding your automatic is one of the worst things you can do to it. If one really needs to wind it every day, can't one take off the auto module on the 2836 as with the 2824 vs. 2801?
  10. How can a screw down crown fall off without you noticing? If you can manage to get a replacement crown, you will have to remove the caseback, push a little pin down and pull out the stem, screw the new crown on the stem, push all back in and screw on the caseback and crown.
  11. I have the blue dialed gen as a daily wearer. It has inside AR only but it is noticeable and you don't run any risk of scratching any outside coating. Domi has a contact in EU that will do AR coating. Re-lume will probably not get it that much closer to gen as the lume on the gen is pretty much only noticeable in the middle of the night when your eyes have adjusted to the darkness for some time. If you want to have the lume shine stronger than on the gen a re-lume might help.. The tube is threaded on the outside on the gen. If I am not mistaken only the 45mm PO has inside threads. TBH if you are planning to wear this watch daily and are that much bothered with the tells: get a gen. You can get them in pretty good condition for around 1500 or less Euros. New tube and crown, new dial or re-lume, AR coating, the price of the rep, the time it will take to get all done, finding a watchmaker that will service your rep when something is broken.. It's just not worth it imho. That being said, the white dial with blue markers are somewhat rare, so finding a gen will take some time too...
  12. Can't someone make some accurate reps of the invitations? Inb4 "Rolex invitation V5.0 Ultimate Swiss 1:1 Original completely dissected takes genuine parts!"
  13. If the regular sub isn't available, "no wait time" isn't quite true is it. Have you checked the TC ICE watch out?
  14. Exactly. And you wouldn't have to cook yourself.
  15. You can use the company Wi-Fi if you find a parking space close enough.
  16. Two minutes and you are at work and you save a lot of money.
  17. TBH a 10k watch + costs of shipping and insuring + import taxes etc.. For that additional cost you probably could just buy a plane ticket and pick the watch up yourself on a weekend.
  18. Not as handsome as you? You are just jealous of my unibrow and bosslike mustache... No, I don't think ADs are experts. But since they aren't experts, why exactly does one feel the need to show off in front of someone, who is clueless and then feel good about it? It's no accomplishmet and will only have negative consequences, if any.. The only reason people do this, is to fool themselves. So they can say "Oh yeah buddy, that was a good buy, even the AD thought the watch was real.." Make no mistake, a rep is a rep and no matter how many people you fool, you still know what's up.
  19. Have him hide the watch in a plastic toy and declare 5$ on the package. No theft, no taxes.
  20. Inb4 he's living in a closet for 3.800 $ a week. Welcome to NYC.
  21. [25] - Do not visit an AD (Authentic Dealer) with your replica watch and show it of as the real thing. If you do so, we are not interested in hearing about it. Such post will be deleted.
  22. 30 mm quartz ladies model?
  23. Better make sure your client isn't a watchnut and checks out the watch fora...
  24. More details.. Budget? How far/long are you willing to commute to work?
