  1. Wearing my DeepSea in the morning and then switched to the DayDate Carrera.
  2. at -18C (a shitty, humid -18C) almost -30C with the windchill, my Submariner will spend most of the day underneath my new Goose Down Parka
  3. Submariner still adorning my wrist Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Another Sub in the snow. changed it up, going with something a little smaller
  5. Merry Christmas from the Great White North
  6. I prefer the 5004 for the cleaner dial design and slightly more modern overall look. The 5002 is certainly a more accurate homage to the old pilot watches that inspired the Big Pilot but I still prefer the more modern interpretation of the 5004.
  7. Its Christmas Eve and I don't think I have a new watch in my Christmas future Been wearing the Big Pilot for a while now, might just ride this out for the holidays.
  8. Still wearing my big pilot, still need a new strap.
  9. No change for me, still wearing my Big Pilot, might make it through the holidays with this one.
  10. Late entry into the game, been wearing this all weekend.
  11. Big Pilot will keep the time for me too. Love that strap astonjenks.
  12. I'm in the market for a TAG Heuer 500m Ceramic diver. At around $2000 it is very reasonably priced.
  13. This rep is the ver.2 Cal.1887, this was a limited run before the final version was released. This watch is fairly accurate, the sundial bezels are a little thick but otherwise it looks pretty good. The movement in the back of the watch will be wrong, the watch will use a 7750 movement which looks a lot different from the Cal.1887.
  14. Hey guys, I haven't been around for a while, this watch is a rep but it is almost perfect.
  15. They made a rep of the SLR 1887, with the brown dial, it's no bad, if you like a brown sunburst dial... I guess.
  16. Citizen Skyhawk is strapped to my wrist today.
  17. Hey Mecha, I posted a couple pics in another post but I'll add them here as well, they are both from Pure Time. These are the Cal. 16 Chrono Date only and this has a pinstriped dial. The older Link Cal. 16 had Day/Date complication but did not have a pinstriped dial. Can you confirm that the watch you are looking at is this watch Both are good reps, I very much prefer the look of the newer Cal. 16 Link Chrono (no Day Date). My opinions aside and to answer your question. The day date Link chronograph is not suppose to have a pinstriped dial and the rep is pretty accurate.
  18. Ladies Ceramic F1 reps are phenominal, I would say they are super reps but don't get the attention they probably deserve because this is a little bit of a boys club and they are womens watches. Both the Chronograph and non Chronograph F1 ladies use the same Rhonda Quartz movement that TAG Heuer use in the genuine watch and are near flawless. as for mens Formula 1, if you have your heart set on it go for it. As far as my two cents, get a real watch! Cal. 16 DayDate Carrera (bracelet or leather) Cal. 16 41mm Carrera black dial/black bezel (bracelet) Cal. 16 Link, Black or White dial Cal. 17 Grand Carrera Black dial/Stainless bezel (leather or bracelet) All so far use an A7750 Chronograph Movement Aquaracer Cal. 5 (bracelet) Unless they have repped the Cal. 16 Formula 1 mens watch and I am unaware of it (they haven't and I'm not) then under no circumstances should you get a Formula 1 mens watch, nothing about them are even remotely nice, they look worse than a bad Citizen or Seiko and the only thing that would lead anyone to think it was a nice watch would be the TAG Heuer logo on the dial and the Invicta-esque engraving in the case, both things that TAG Heuer should be ashamed of as a matter of principal alone. My DayDate Carrera 41mm Carrera Link Chrono (new model) Cal. 17 Aquaracer Now please tell me that you can see why all of these watches are nicer than a mens Formula one... pictured below in all of its wretchedness!
