  1. Very nice watch. This is a very good replica and very accurate, not perfect, but accurate. If your box is a replica box then I can assure you there is a very big difference between it and the box that a Genuine TAG Heuer comes in, I didn't notice until I bought my carrera and it was immediately evident that the replica box is not as good. Either way, enjoy your new timepiece and wear it in good health!
  2. Thanks Gran. I have not one ounce of the buyers remorse!
  3. First wrist check in a while, I'll be wearing this for a little while now.
  4. I was looking for a watch for my sister to get for her husband and came across this item on ebay. I wouldn't have expected to find a replica of this model (it's a $400 Tissot PRC200 Chrono) but it's a very popular model so I guess it could happen. the sub dials and their functions are all wrong, no 1/10th function and different printing for running seconds. Here is the listing, get the lead out and report this thing. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200977895125&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en This isn't the standard rep busting, I know, but I'd hate for someone to get scammed trying to get themselves a deal on a decent watch. Also, Item: $50, Shipping: $350????? can you say red ass flag Gen: Suspect 0:
  5. Should we fix the link in the dealer websites section to reflect the new site, I didn't even notice that it was the wrong address.
  6. Those are reviews, he is listed on the dealer website page.
  7. To answer the lead burying question here, I just checked and Josh is still listed as a TD on this forum.
  8. When did perfect clones become a non trusted dealer hear, I was sure they were? Q - Did you pay via paypal directly from his site or did you receive an email and pay through a dummy site that was not for watches and just haven't received any communication since paying? I have never been able to actually pay for an order without a single email exchange from someone at the site so that would raise a flag for me.
  9. I guess we have to show up if we want to see all the eye candy in detail Those camera skills Mike, those camera skills. Really wish I could have been there, would love to be part of a get together someday, it looks like a lot of fun and a great way to spend a Sunday night.
  10. Omega Seamaster to start the week off right.
  11. The only acceptable version of this watch, as a kid I had one of these passed down to me from my father... no idea what happened to it.
  12. Would Jules Audemars escapement not be considered an even bigger departure from traditional pallet fork escapements?
  13. Toning it down for the weekend with a Seamaster Professional
  14. "It consumes every free minute" not a problem, call me when it consumes every last penny in your savings account
  15. I personally owned the coolest sports car ever made, I long for the days of cruising the open road in her supportive bucket seats, rowing through the manual gear box and exercising her muscular engine. Even standing still, she was something to look at. In all seriousness, I actually miss this car, (I now drive and Infiniti FX50s and an Audi S5 and still miss it) it was my first and I loved it. I used to fantasize about creating the ultimate GT car by modifying the suspension and interior with much higher quality materials. This fantasizing all took place before I had ever really driven anything better and didn't realize that the shortcomings of the Pontiac Sunfire went all the way to it's foundation To this day I think about what I could do with one of these and how nice I could make one but the reality is, it could never become what I saw in it when I was commuting back and forth from school to my girlfriends place every other week.
  16. I went back to the picture and they still look silver, crazy. That logo is fantastic though, great looking dial.
  17. Good TAG logo on the dial, no blue screws! that's two of the biggest tells from the old Day Date carrera's fixed. I wonder if this will filter to the old models? Great looking watch too, I like the stick indicies vs. the Arabic Numerals (not more, just also) it gives the watch it's own look while being essentially the same watch.
  18. But they charge $1000 for the Gen which usually uses the exact same ETA quartz movement. so you can pay $1000 for a gen swiss quartz, or you could pay $200 for a Rep with a gen movement. No brainer, when it comes to quartz reps, go rep.
