Daily beater for now, still waiting for the nato to show up. I'm thinking Omega Seamaster for this evening, I'll update when that decision has been finalized
-
That's a fantastic water shot, some serious camera skills my friend.
-
That's a great looking watch Cats, love the strap too. Work beater Invicta for me today, still waiting on my order of Nato Straps to spice this thing up a little.
-
As is for now could add to it in the future though, I already have a few ideas for additions and my tattoo artist is giddy with the thought of adding to this one

sgt - I posted the stencile in yesterdays wristies, it's an escapement wheel and pallet fork that sits on my wrist with the pallet fork disappearing beneath my watch. My Tattoo guy was pretty psyched to work on it, I'll get some good wristies taken when it's all healed up!

Tattoo will be a couple weeks healing properly, until then everything goes on my right arm, it's taking some getting used to but I'm adapting quite well to it. Back to the Invicta work beater for now, waiting on a nato strap for this watch, the bracelet is pretty junky.

Getting stenciled for tattoo number two today, been a long day but we're on the home stretch. Getting stenciled for tattoo number two today, been a long day but we're on the home stretch.

I really like this watch, I mean, I really like it, I'm with you Fixr, needs to be rep'd pronto -
Gotta say thanks Ry, I have learned quite a bit from your posts alone, thanks for all your help so far with the PO build. Good luck on the gens, I have a couple in my sights and can't wait to start shopping for them again.

I remember the first time I heard this bit from Mr. Carlin, it really is fantastic and very true. A political system so awash with money from special interests does not and will not make decisions based on the best interest of the population. It will not protect the weak from hardship, or the minorities (ethnic, religious, etc.) from discrimination. Watching the spectacle that is American politics is rather frustrating from the outside, I can't imagine watching and voting from within it.

Never seen politician's wife wear Man's rolex before

Why would it really be bad form for them to wear a high end or luxury watch? Is it a secret that these people are all extremely wealthy? Someone pretending to be an average guy, when I know for a fact that he is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, doesn't make me see him as an average guy. If Mrs. Romney wants to wear Michael Kors, then she is more than welcome, and if she wants to wear a solid gold Rolex, she certainly has my blessing. Pretending that American politicians (especially Romney and a few others) are just like everyone else is a farce and it should help us to understand where a lot of their priorities are - Democrats and Republicans. "I drive a mustang and the wife drives a couple of cadillacs"................................That were purchased with the change I found between the seats of my private jet Crap, now we're off topic -
Work beater arrived last night, brushed the center links immediately. And for later

That Planet Ocean looks really great, I assume you have already accepted this excellent specimen. Wear it well!

The following link should take you to the thread referencing the RWG watch. I believe the watch is available to members of the other RWG forum (still not clear on what that is all about, I'm new here), best of luck, sounds like a very lucky guy

Monday Wristies 15.10.2012 Start of week

Another day at work with the Invicta, anticipating delivery of the 8926 early this week. Great pics ASCI, reminds me of an action movie, stuff Jason Statham might have on his work bench in his tool shed, with secret compartments behind the walls full of guns! -

Back and forth all day, rainy Saturday at home

Carrera Day-Date

A little change up for dinner tonight

In celebration of lasts nights impulse buy of an Invicta 8926 as a work beater. The one I ordered apparently ships with the Seiko NH35A (24j hacking, manual wind) movement which is a huge improvement over both theNH25A and Miyota that it used to ship with. 44mm Pro Diver - Blue

I can definitely get on board with fluffy white snow, covering the trees and crunching under my feet under a clear blue sky. What I can't take however, is the wet slushy snow covering the roads, brown from the salt and sand they cover the roads with, the biting gusty winds off the shores of Lake Huron and the -7C @ 85%RH that feels more like -20C no matter how many layers you are wearing, and the Sun, Where the F#*K is the Sun...... EFFF Winter Disclaimer - 7C may not seem cold, but with the wind and humidity, it's just about unbearable, it's sounds crazy but it's true. Thankfully it's fall and Kincardine still looks like this Lake Huron2.bmp

Midweek Wristies Wednesday, October 10

I think I finally managed a good pic of this Carrera -
Aren't the Asian 21j movements pretty much a Seiko NH25A or very similar Myota movement? These are actually pretty decent movements, cheap and more than up to the task of keeping time in a sporty diver!
-
They are more likely to be A7750 with a fake Breitling rotor than Valjoux 7750 with a fake breitling rotor, if that makes any sense. What I mean is, if the movement is ETA and priced reasonably, why go to the effort of putting a fake Breitling rotor on, unless you are trying to inflate the price which they don't appear to be doing ($325.00 seams reasonable for a used 7750, I think) My, rather valueless, opinion it's probably real and probably from a Breitling, Calibre 13 - Chronomat Evolution or SuperOcean Chrono.
