  1. Apologies for my shoot taking so long. I may just do some quick ones later and get them up here!
  2. Its on the trusty website, but as mentioned the photos have not been updated. BP have updated their entire Rolex range by the looks of things.
  3. Still convincing myself my wrist can pull off a fiddy. We've established my bank account could not pull off the real thing..
  4. Congrats Mike, 1000 posts in 6 months is no mean feat! Here's to another healthy and emptied wallet 1000...
  5. Looks fantastic, wrist shots when she arrives! Good luck in transit this time...
  6. That's one of the issues with the black, dial is glossy, not Matt like Gen. Overall the white is more accurate.
  7. Yes thanks for sharing this one Mike, I emailed Andrew and they've updated the entire range so the 114060 no date is also complete....Im sure we'd all love to see a side by side photo of this with your noob version....thanks again bud.
  8. Absolutely. At the point where son has grown up (a little taller than pops) and is forging a new identity. No matter what anyone says about these modern exp, they share the same DNA, and it's a thoroughbred blood line ; )
  9. Ive answered my own question by speaking to Andrew, the 114060 is updated, and potentially looks better than noob. Might order one and compare. Anyone already got one?
  10. It can be annoying at times, but you do have to wait and he will get back to you. If you send him many e-mails in close succession he may choose to ignore you as a lack of patience annoys him. Quote from his blog http://blog.tc-sub.com/2012/05/email-tc.html : "And DON'T be jumpy! I hate people sending me multiple emails a day with just a sentence or two or pushing me for a reply. I do not live in front of a computer screen and I don't like how young people communicate nowadays. Text message doesn't convey details. Think through what you want to say and email it to me in proper English. I will reply you in a day or two with details and also in proper English! If I don't reply soon that's because I'm working on a solution. Be patient, DON'T PUSH ME! This is my freaking hobby, not something I make money for a living"
  11. You are absolutely right, these comparisons of Gens show your point clearly.
  12. Theres a discussion going on about the BP 114060 from Trusty, the watch has been updated. http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/154790-trustys-ceramic-black-submariner-arrived-wow/ Anyone know if the 114060 has had an update too?
  13. So this is the BP version - Can anyone confirm if the factory have updated the 114060 No date too?
  14. This is a fair point well made by the Rolexman. A community such as this is surely defined, and ever growing through giving knowledge and time, otherwise this wonderful source wouldn't exist. You can only hope these dudes give some value back in the future, and quickly begin to understand what RWG and similar communities are all about. Plus learn some common courtesies and simple manners! Take heed!
  15. Its not perfectly smooth or rigid on the angles, but perhaps I got lucky as mines not as bad as some of the QC pics posted. The black version has a much better lume application - I examined one last night. The lume application to markers looks smooth, machined and more like gen. The dial is way to shiny though. To conclude - From 30cm away my copy looks great, under a loupe Im sure it looks like a moon scape! But it is a bloody rep after all. At least the dial hands and markers are a matching pure polar white in daylight. One of the biggest tells of previous models is that in daylight the hands have a green hue, whilst markers are white, but in the dark they lume up the same blue hue - Ridiculous error, and a glaring inaccuracy to the genuine article.
  16. Congratulations K , thats a big number right there. Heres to the next happy, healthy and fun 20,000. Arch.
  17. Am out of town for a few days, but hopeful at least to photograph it in detail by this time next week - with any luck I will find the time for some gen comparison's too.
  18. Thats the attitude! Get it on your wrist and see how much you love it, there are plenty of top guys on this board that can help you out later on. P.S Looks good BTW! Good luck with shipping.
  19. Based on the gens Ive seen in the flesh and online, the GMT hand length looks perfect on mine.
  20. I suspect they dont see a problem. Every time you ask for things to be changed, checked, re-photographed etc it costs money - in wages. If I were you I'd go for it, if you love it get it serviced and reg'd by a pro.
  21. Noob EXP 2 courtesy of Toro. Plan to shoot it in a bit more detail soon, so you can judge. People are moaning, but there's enough right for me to be impressed.
  22. I didn't think it possible to have too many watches. Perhaps that's my problem!
