  1. Nice strap Stephane!!! Yeah, I went without a 3717 for so long and had no idea what I was missing.
  2. Not sure about the double ar but the single side ar is actually decent. Mine has the single ar and the crystal actually seems to disappear at certain angles...I know this doesn't answer your double ar question though.
  3. Cool, that might just be easier. Thanks.
  4. So what is the deal with the A7750 in these 3717? Are they serviceable? This 3717 winds a little chunky...I haven't really wound it more than a couple turns but there seems to be the slightest resistance. Nothing to worry about but I just don't want to wind it and create problems when there don't seem to be any. Sometimes (1 in 10) the chrono resets to 55. But it's been keeping super time though. The reason I say that I want the ETA 7750 version is because I don't want to spend $$$ in mods only to have the A7750 give out in a year. Has anyone experienced any trouble with their 3717 A7750? Just curious.
  5. Alright, I know there are like a billion 3717 threads but I just picked up this beauty from Wolf and wanted to get a pictorial thread for my sig...so here it is. The bracelet just does not work for me. I have it on the most versatile strap I have ever owned, the Di-Modell Chronissimo!!! The strap looks great on everything and really makes the 3717 for me. I wouldn't be able to wear the watch on anything else. BTW, the 3717 is stock...no mods whatsoever...but I love this watch so much, the hunt is now on for an ETA 3717 with all the mods...if you have one that lives in the box, please shoot me a pm. Enjoy
  6. I really dig the well worn look. Ti pams never sat well with me because they look and fell like plastic. IMO, the scratches and worn look give it character.
  7. Nothing compares to the gen...and the gen PO is really not that much if you get a good deal on a used one. Congrats...I'm almost at the point that I just want to sell all of my reps and by a gen or two and be done with it...just wanna wear a watch.
  8. Just echoing what Chief said. I got double AR on my 112 and enjoyed it for a couple of months. Then after seeing my rep next to a gen 112, my 112 looked really odd. So I removed the outer coating on my 112 and couldn't be happier with the results. It's stunning. I also removed the outer coating of Chiefs double AR on my 210 with the same results...stunning. I recommend it. Just a dremel and green jeweler's rouge...and 20 minutes later...gone! But it's best to uncase the movement as the case & crystal get pretty hot and you don't want to damage the movement.
  9. Bruce = favorite movie character's name when I was a younger 79 = year I was born
  10. I'm not sure exactly when it was done. I believe fishgodeep had it done so perhaps he chime in.
  11. Thanks, I know I know. The thing is that of the 5 or so reps I own, they are all heavily modded and are all my favorites...it's tough to choose and you guys don't make it any easier.
  12. Ok, so here are some shots of my 005. It came my way via a few other members with a stop off at Zigs for some killer mods. Among the mods I know of, a matte finish was applied over the dial giving it an incredible, more gen, look.... Also, palp crown installed and Zig did the lume. I just replaced the case & crown guard as the originals were pretty beat up. I also removed the rep ar from the sapphire crystal...really helped! The strap is a Simona Vintage Tan with flat/brushed buckle. Enjoy.
  13. Ok, I want to play too. Here is my 188 on a Simona Vintage Green. Sort of a half assed lume shot.
  14. I have a modded 005g & a 112h, both heavily modded but I'm thinking of getting rid of one to free up some funds. Which would you hold onto and which would you sell...and why? Thanks Also, remaining pam collection includes a 188 & 210.
  15. alright, enough of the small talk...how much do you want for it?
  16. Yes yes, the 14060 has always had lug holes and still has them today. AFAIK, the rolex rolex engraving is on the 2008 14060, but not the 2008. The picture of the 14060 posted above is gen.
  17. Considering that there are no halfway decent reps of the 14060, it looks as gen as gen gets. The insert, small dial, crown guards, lug holes, loose end links, crown, crystal height all point to gen. Risky buy but I think you lucked out here. I'd put my money on it being gen. Plus, all of the 14060 reps use the regular sub case for the 14060 and the dial (like that of the 16600) is a tad smaller than the standard sub...the rep 14060 have never ever ever gotten this right.
  18. Stunning piece...but the edges of the palp crown look a little rounded...were his Ti crowns different from the SS.
  19. That is a killer watch and a killer strap...but get rid of that AR! The second pic looks much much better.
  20. This is a pic of a 1675 for sale right now on TZ...look at the crown position...comments
