I really wanted to get this post done last weekend, but too many things were going on and I just couldn’t get to it.* I wanted to do this review not just to show off my newest watch, but to recognize the work of a really good person.* I know you are probably anxious to see some pics, but please bear with me for a moment.* If you saw my previous review of my 1675, this all started when I read a review of a 1675 done by Yodog.* Long story short, I contacted Yodog and shortly thereafter I had the 1675 on my wrist.* Not only that, but I bought a 1680 from a TD around the same time.* I asked if I could send it for the same treatment.* Yodog agreed without hesitation and Boom! 1675 and 1680 in hand.* I had all the pieces for a 1655 in my parts box that at one time I had planned to try to complete myself, so I reached out to Yodog and he gladly took on the project. But this time there was a hiccup.* I failed to send a movement ring.* I hadn’t even noticed I didn’t have one before I sent the parts.* I looked in my parts box, but no luck.* Yodog didn’t have one either.* He asked around, but again no luck.* Rather than have me wait for two weeks or longer for the one he ordered, Yodog took a movement ring out of one of his personal watches to complete my project and get it back to me.* He said he would replace his when the one he ordered came in.* A tip of the hat to you, Yodog.* His work is good, really good IMHO.* He is easy to work with. His communication is excellent. His prices are very reasonable.* And he goes the extra mile to get it done.* I am by no means a paid spokesperson, just sharing my own experience and opinion.* By the way, he did mention after finishing this 1655 that he might do a few more if he can source the base model somewhere…. Now on to the pics. ...and the YODOG trifecta...1680, 1655, 1675 Thanks for reading. Cheers!
