The gen crystal that was on the before has indeed a more conical shape as the top hat. This one is almost completely straight , for that reason it's called the the top hat if i'm not mistaken. They both have the same reference number " 127 " . The top hat is hard to find now a days so i'm happy with this catch. Thanks for all the kind words. Cats

Bought a gen tophat from a member here e few months ago. Now it's installed and I would like to hear the comment from the experts on this forum on the looks of my 1680. I started of with PAM's . Along the road the Rolex models got my attention. The vintage models with plexi are indeed the nicest. By the way my GMT II is also one of my favorites. Now a days i have 4 rolexes and 1 PAM 111H in my rep watch box. Carpe Diem Cats
