The crystal is a gen flat, i had the Clarks superdomed installed and i like this one a lot better. Here's a picture of the Clarks installed on the 1665 The insert is a PMWF insert with a Ofrei pearl ( hard tot ell the difference from a gen ) Capre Diem Cats

I agree with the remark that a 1665 wears a bit thicker then the other gen subs like a 1680. But i still love mine Carpe Diem Cats

Hi Red welcome to the club. I like the insert very much. If you ask me you only need to change crown for a gen and then it's almost perfect. How it is the feel of your bracelet. Mine was/is flimsy but i'm getting used to it. Wear it well Carpe Diem Cats

Plai, Thoughts and prayers from the Netherlands to your friends wife. I go with Freddy and advise her to visit the specialists. Things may sound very bad but there is always hope. Almost 3 years ago 2 specialists visited me at my hospital bed telling me to enjoy the next coming Christmas because it was going to be my last , because they discovered a malignant kidney tumor which has spread to my femur bone. Next December will be my 3rd Christmas after i got that message. So tell here to never loose faith and get the support of the best medical care possible in Spain ( or abroad ). Carpe Diem Cats
