  1. Congrats Chief. Wonderfull watch and work of course. By the way, my second Chief arrived today so I'm wearing it now Please, Chieftang, when you have a minute, send the crystal back, OK ? the Ingy on my arm is the new one, the othe is my previous one But I know the old one has a great new home now
  2. I am enjoying Jetsons, I am ! Well maybe next time we'll share a Camenbert in NYC all toghether... Who knows which watch is gonna pop up ? .....a 63 ?
  3. Ah, that sounds very very sexy to me It's a deal! Hey SSSurfer, I'm so happy you pop up here. I want all the community to know you educated me in Pams Well, I'm still wanting to ask tons of questions of course, but at least I didn't fall in any scam or poor 196 and for that I thank you (aswell as for your patience ) I love Brown ...and thus I'm fortunate that Kruz added this beautifull combo to the watch! I couldn't wear it on black croc I think (tried today with a black carbon ) Ok, well, each time I'll wear it with the Rubber one (wich I love), I'll have a thought for you M, ok ? Cheers Stephane PS: and I would like to return all the congrats from this thread to Kruz & Ziggy
  4. Perfect, I'll have a Kobe and a 63 with a glass of Leoville Las Case
  5. Is that a 69 (the non stripped) ? You know I'm patient Kruz I will wait and have as many lunches as you want
  6. Back to the latest acquisition this morning but on a carbon strap. Not sure if the combo is better than the deployants (gen brown croc and rep rubber). The huge Toscana buckle doesn't feel right on this baby. Oh, before looking at the pic, news: remember after 80 hours it didn't gain nor loose a second? Well, with 24 hours more sitting in the watch box (104 hours in total thus) it's now at +1 second I guess I will cancell my order for a second atomic clock in the house Cheers Stephane
  7. Well, there are not a lot I like (need a GMT one day, I have a not that bad 112, a good 127 and a vintage project). 196 was my first choice anyway and now that I have it, I don't think I'll look for an entire Pam collection, only a GMT. @all, thanks Cheers Stephane
  8. Hey, Lani, that is a great watch you got back from Ziggy I will second Delta though : WATCH OUT you might end with all of them Congrats and welcome to the vintage club. Wear it well and in perfect health. Cheers Stephane
  9. I saw one that I ordered a year ago I doubt it will ever arrive on my wrist...
  10. Hmmm, after 4 days of Pam 196, back to some classic Rolex
  11. Indeed! You will be disapointed if you go for anything else but a genuine one. The difference in weight between the Noob and a gen is really nothing to mention by the way.
  12. Thanks. I still have to check that out @ my local AD...
  13. Well, I am drooling over this 196 myself Mezz So here some news after 80 hours: this beauty has not lost nor gain a single second I only have one other watch in my collection that is that accurate. Amazing work.
  14. I fully agree. The NDT are maybe nicer than standard ones but the color is off and on the 5513 the 3-6-9 markers are very very weird. I too am going to have that changed hopefully.
  15. I'm afraid I have no blink, no Breit either... I might even become boaring as this one hasn't left my wrist since friday
  16. I can confirm that the Daytona I have carries the same serial as the Noobs... I recently removed the bracelet and it was quite a surprise. I'm talking about this one (which has been reviewed by BT too: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=47527)
  17. Wow, congrats for having the patience to try all this. Omega rep bands are a nightmare, and I will never touch one again. Obviously the lugs aren't easy to deal with either
  18. Hartelijk bedankt Comment ne serait-ce pas le cas ? I might come back ... Looks great TT. Thanks for sharing, wear it well too. Ah, the man behind the watch Thanks for your nice words Ziggy. Like for my vintage rollies dials, I can't stop looking at the work you did on this one under a loupe. If I didn't have the watch in my hands, I would say it is impossible to achieve such a precise work. After some very bad experiences with some clowns that you are aware of, your skills are fresh air for our hobby. Please tell us you move to Europe soon
  19. That sounds a great watch to me ...where can we get one ?
  20. Oh no, how the hell did I miss this thread ?! Congrats to both Ubi and Dave, wonderfull gesture.
  21. Congrats Scoobs It has been a real pleasure to meet you. All the best from a neighbour Cheers Stephane
  22. Well, as I'm not an old member, I couldn't tell myself. I wasn't "RWG" borned when they were available Now, I believe some other member if not Kruz himself have much more knowledge and will shime in...
  23. Toadtorrent, Your thread is a good idea. Not new, but a good idea. It has been said before and yes we should all take the time to let the OP that we read and appreciate their review. I myself spend a lot of time here and not always share my feelings after having read someting new. It's a shame Cheers Stephane
