  1. "...the only time I've ever used the stopwatch is to check that the stopwatch is still working...." I love the humour and the comments in that article. Thanks for posting, Cheers Stephane
  2. Oh my god. I spent hours to look at that. Thanks so much for the information. The SDs dials and 1680 are a big surprise. Our modded are very close in my opinion. Cheers Stephane
  3. For the hands, I have no idea....I'm far from being able to do this. As for the dies, there is a huge difference in quality between the "cheap" and Bergeon (I have both here). I would say Bergeon or nothing for dies. I mean it's not the brand which is perfect but the dies. The Bergeon screwdriver blades for example are not good enough in my opinion. My father's business as been tools for 40 years. He always told me to invest in a perfect tool right away as it would last several generation while cheap tools will have been replaced several times. Look here : http://www.watch-tool.de/shop.php Click on Case opener. They sell the dies only for 19,99
  4. Too cheap to be good. I second OffShore's warning. Only a genuine Bergeon dies will not scratch your Rolex case back. I scratched one badly with a cheap dies and then went for a good quality one...experience, experience !!!
  5. Wow, that is a great watch and stoy Delta. But, yes, you should have keep it !!!
  6. There is a limit on the amount of money and transaction is a certain period of time. Mine as been blocked after the boxes sales. I can of course spend the money, pay via PP to other accounts but cannot get the money to my CC or bank. I had to send Ids, electricity bills, an explanation for why such an activity and so on...only fingerprints were not necessary. Currently it's in that "transitionnal" status for over a week now and nothing shows that it's going to be released soon. I called (premium rate phone number), emailed, ...no answer but automated answers so far.
  7. Did I missread? The Admin team is going to take care of this, and centralise everything isn't it ?
  8. Good friday starts with the 16570 here. Have a fantastic Easter!
  9. Offshore, I agree, it's these blades. They drive me crazy...even a screw of a NoobBracelet seem to be too hard for them.
  10. Have fun Tribal. It's my daily tool now: no more paper agenda...
  11. That is a great idea for a review. Thank you so much for having it. Up till now I assumed that for a watch, only Bergeon was appropriate. One more clich
  12. Hey Vly, care to share a pic or a link to that one ?
  13. Amazing Andy, simply amazing ! Thanks. Cheers Stephane
  14. Now, I wonder if I shouldn't start to save $$$ for a genuine Pam. Thanks guys In the meantime:
  15. Wow, very impressive galery. Too bad you didn't keep that GMT but keep all the other ones. This hobby is very special: seems like we all do our homeworks pretty fast going from a totaly bad rep to a 99,9999% accurate one in a year! Cheers Stephane
  16. Congrats Laz. I'm sure you love the 1665, don't you. It's a keeper for sure. How is your case back looking ? Cheers Stephane
  17. I think that applying a varnish would make the trick like it did on my 3717...
  18. As promised to Ryaku, I compared the dials of the 3717 and uPO to this RailMaster 39,2 MM. (Sorry for taking so long) The verdict is that the Raimaster dial's color is deep black. More black than the 3717 & uPO. I still think my RailMaster is matte too by the way. So I tried to take some photos of the three watches but completely failed. The result is bad and doesn't really help What is obvious though is that all of them have Anti Reflect coating It is very very blueish isn't it Cheers Stephane PS: I added some photos of the crown in the first post.
