  1. I wasn't there back in 2003 But please accept my warmest welcome
  2. Sorry not being from UK but I trully want to welcome you in our little community. Please let me know if you organise a GTG...I'll swim over from Belgium to share fish and chips
  3. That is good news Please feel confortable and accept a warm welcome
  4. I'm sincerly returning your wishes Freddy. We do not share the tea passion but some other things like your fantastic Beatles collection Or the mix of salt and sugar: goat cheese with "confiture" All the best from Brussels Stephane
  5. I've seen one with Panerai bridge Mystery is true mystery when it comes to these movements... I should get mine back soon and test that MM for a while. So far it seems to run OK
  6. Working a lot in my servers room these days. So I need a tool watch
  7. Congrats Toad. I predict that with your energy and passion it's not your last milestone. Thanks for your contribution to the place, it makes it even better Cheers Stephane
  8. Ah ah, that was an ugly thing, the Rock watch!!! But I agree Tissot is something special, specialy for Europeans. Isn't it the first gen wacth we received as a young teenager Buying a Tissot keeps us young! I love the PRS.
  9. I didn't visit that forum as I didn't the previous ones... I don't speak for others but, as a fresh member (01/2007) and even fresher mod, I am really boared about all these guys carrying dramas... Why don't we leave them alone? They have no future in this community anyway. I understand that if a member's account is hacked it's a problem but he still can create a new one, isn't it. Sorry to interfer in the "old members" concerns, but honestly it's not worth the efforts in my humble opinion. The only good answer to these people is to ignore them. They are so phony.
  10. We're never tired of seing those beauties. Congrats D and bravo
  11. If she doesn't my son would love it Congrats, it's a very nice watch!
  12. ...and replicated cloned ghost members
  13. Hi Docta, I am going to be the bad guy here, sorry First, the site you bought it from is not really the forum's favourite...to say the least. Second your photos aren't clear enough to make an opinion on the outside of your watch So I sincerely think you will not recover your investment...and would suggest to keep your watch On top of this, whithout a 100% garantee about the movement, it's even more difficult. If you're still reading, thanks for that, try to sell it in our sale/trade/fundraiser section. But therefore you should upgrade your membership and gain some more posts and references to have a chance to sell it. Again, sorry but I prefer to say things straight Cheers Stephane
  14. Could you be a litlle more precise please ?
  15. I'm jalous! I didn't get a PM I once got a reply to a thread I opened and still wonder what was written
  16. Any 93150 would be correct. Depending on the story of the watch...could be with 585 or 501b ... Usualy old watches have been serviced and bracelets/end links can have been changed.
  17. Sell the superdome If it's genuine you will have so much funds that you migth build a great GW with a gen mvt Joking Laz. I understand it's cool to build something else
  18. Ok Laz... So basically you sold all your vintages to get a gen 16600 right? That makes sense to me Among your watches there was a GW, right... Now you are building a new project, right... So why don't you build a GW again? It's so more sexy than those reds
  19. ROO start to grow on me too Surprise surprise today ...
  20. You're right. Hold for a couple of days, you might love it then. But please, leave it as it is.
  21. Me too But make sure the crown and case back are very tight
  22. Well, it's up to you of course. But imho lume is not needed unless you have a hobby or a job for which it's helpfull. When it lumes, you sleep I would never have one of my gen's dial changed, not even by Rolex.
