  1. Thanks Stephane. I just wanted to give people a heads up here on this site before he strikes again. -Dvne
  2. PLEASE BAN this f***tard. He scammed me for a sale next door. http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/246900-**WARNING**-Do-NOT-deal-with-ANDREW-OAKLEY-silvershark!-**SCAMMER-ALERT**
  3. The maxi minute hand sticks out like a sore thumb but beautiful build!
  4. The winding issue is because of the stem height. Swap it out for a 2836 and I bet everything will work fine. You are killing the 2824 in that kind of case...
  5. Looks great! Reset that keyless works your self. Easy peasy on that one because no DWO to cover up the keyless works. I have to reset the keyless on my FrankenJust. Now that, is a PITA...
  6. For the TC's, I thought it was well documented that the O ring used by TC was too big (hence the winding issue) and it needed to be swapped out for a Clarks? For your DSSD, I was never aware that they made a 2824 version. I thought they were all 2836 stem height cases. You can't switch em...
  7. I am happy with mines as well... but this Tempus Machina is a BEAUT!!!
  8. Nice dial! Definitely must be cased in a case with lugholes.
  9. That is the nicest 1675 I have ever seen. Funny how everything came together perfectly...
  10. Yep. case came with the tube $350 dial $250 NOS crown $150
  11. You would treat this build like you would a MyManMatt Datejust build - Raffles movement ring #2 Stem height is perfect. If you use a JMB 16200, 2824 slim case, it already comes with the movement ring. It's a rep bracelet. I totally forgot the source but from what I remember, it was spot on. Franken 14270 is a lot cheaper than any gen I know of. If you can find a all gen 1500 for under $1000, I'd jump on that. For my next build, I am tempted to have JMB engrave 14270 between the lugs...
  12. Thanks fellas... Here is the crown I used. Sourced it from VRF
  13. Swiss only Explorer Post more pics of that... (and yes, that Yuki dial is actually beautiful )
  14. I made a similar one earlier this year. Gen 16200 case, gen crown, gen dial, Clark merc hands and a swiss 2824. I sold it to a good friend of mines and I am in the middle of gathering up parts for another build. Do you have any pics of your dial?
  15. Agreed. I have dealt with him numerous times and he has helped me via email as well. A true asset to the community.
  16. and the last one... http://www.ebay.com/itm/ORIGINAL-ROLEX-TROPIC-17-CRYSTAL-FOR-THE-6536-6538-JAMES-BOND-5510-6200/231560720598?_trksid=p2047675.c100012.m1985&_trkparms=aid%3D444000%26algo%3DSOI.DEFAULT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D30987%26meid%3D7f064b8d96854498b6e7a4aea50944b8%26pid%3D100012%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D10%26sd%3D331553222611
