  1. Oh right, seeing as its new, is your crown, and stem nice and tight, for example, when adjusting the time? As to your issue, it may need several gentle operations of unscrewing the crown, and adjusting the time, date, and wind position to run these parts in proper.
  2. Thats so bloody true, I'm feeling like that too. My Carrera is still my favourite, but mainly due to me getting intimate with it when I frankened it. My Aquaracer is growing on me, but I don't have that personal connection yet as I have not really done anything to it.
  3. All part of the learning curve mate. You will get to learn how to fix it too in time, there's loads of great help files, and threads here on fixing it.
  4. They are a trusted dealer next door, unsure if they are here. Usually pretty good for cheapies.
  5. Welcome to the forums Greetings from Finland.!
  6. So you purchased them? Let us know how you get on.
  7. Indeed, unless he has more inserts, but I doubt. If you check his feedback as a buyer, he has purchased a few things from WSO, which are more than likely inserts. WSO listings are private which sucks, so can only assume.
  8. Congrats! Which serial/model Gen insert is that, and how was the fitting?
  9. Theres a few on eGay http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=hublot+screwdriver&_sop=15
  10. Welcome to the forums If you could remove the case back and get us a good quality photo of the internals, we maybe able to pinpoint the issue. It could be several things, from a loose rotor, to snapped dial feet, or even movement holder screws.tabs loose.
  11. I'm one for different watches, and I'm loving this one. Nice
  12. Great, informative comparison my friend, thanks for taking the time to do this. Be sure to email the link to Thomas, as I am sure he would like to add this to his blog reviews etc.
  13. Had to click on title and see it on Youtube itself. Unsure of the watch.
  14. Sold for $120USD for the two, someone did well
  15. Update: 24 hours has past since I started monitoring the timekeeping of this Aquaracer. It has the Asian Clone movement, and its bang on, its not lost, or gained a single second in the last 24 hours. Impressed!
  16. Lovely dial you got yourself there my friend.
  17. Makes sense, cheers. My TC is like that, but a Trusty 93250 I have, has both stampings, so obviously inaccurate.
  18. Thats not the best Ive seen, the pearl looks like an afterthought construction. Save your money and treat yourself to a TC sub
  19. Not long back from the post office after collecting my first M2M watch purchase. I got it from a member next door, and as a C&R, its brand new, and still has the film on the clasp. I always shoot a video whenever I unpack anything, because you never know what you may find, a brick, swapped out for a Mickey Mouse watch, and whatnot. In this brief video unboxing, I compare the Aquaracer size against the Carrera, TC Sub, and Sub C. This is the very latest Aquaracer with the correct, arrowed G of Tag, and also improved lume. Photos will be added later highlighting this newer model key areas mentioned, and some additional eye candy as I know you love pics . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mPJVsjINco Ok, heres the photos. I will add the loupe photo of the TAG logo later due to the time when I took these photos covered it, and I didn't want to alter the time as I'm currently checking its accuracy. Weight = 190g Lume Wristy The Aquaracer is a completely brushed stainless steel watch with brushed case set, including display case back, and bracelet too. The bracelet is an engineering marvel. It's scary how close to gen this is, with only a few tells, the most obvious being the pearl. Weighing in at 190g exactly, its a heavy watch, but not too heavy, its lighter than my Carrera for example. I have been contemplating weather to remove the cyclops or not, what do you think? There are two vertical lume strips, one either side of the date wheel, and these cannot be seen with the cyclops. The fit and finish of this rep is outstanding, and very well finished, however, after wearing a genuine Carrera bracelet watch for sometime, I have been spoilt with the finish of the gen, and the rep bracelet of this Aquaracer is noticeably sharper edged, but something which can be self-finished later. I had to remove 1 and a half links to fit my 7.5" wrist. Bezel is nice and solid, rotating clockwise with a nice, positive click each minute step. The crown screws in, and out lovely and butterly smooth, with a noticeable long tube thread. Several full turns needed to screw the crown down. The crown logo is very accurate. Date change was very positive with a nice flip over whilst turning the crown. Unsure if the Helium crown is faux or not, but I will investigate this when I come to watch proof the Aquaracer. Thats about it for now, oh, whilst I don't forget, here's a loupe photo of the correct, arrowed G of TAG on this latest model...
