  1. OK, so teach us that can't see the issues. What are they that make you think its a rep? Dave...
  2. How about the fact that this 'plane' made an almost perfect circular hole, horizontally through 3 stories of that building. That's Never happened before either in any Plane-to-building crash. Dave...
  3. I don't shoot my S&W 1911 much either. 45 rounds are getting to pricey. Here's my Daughter at the 2012 'Road Warrior' 10-day drill camp in Wyoming. She's a multi-weapon Marksman. It runs-in-the-family! Dave...
  4. Nice, Glock 17? I've had a few Glock's in my day. Now my carry is a Ruger SR9c. Dave...
  5. I like the idea of a few reps of the ones you like. Then if you really love one of them, go gen later. Easier to try a bunch of reps 1st. Plus you'll have a lot of fun along with way and learn Tons about watches. Dave...
  6. I just thought this was a cool story behind this timepiece: This 1949 Patek Philippe watch was worn by doctor Kemp Clark when he pronounced the time of death of President John F. Kennedy. http://money.cnn.com/video/pf/2014/05/16/patek-philippe-doctor-jfk-time-of-death.cnnmoney/index.html Dave...
  7. Nice tool, so far it works on my Windows 7, 64bit machine. I would be nice to have a US, Europe etc... check box. Then when people are looking for modders, they can select the country. I can't tell from the results, if the modder is US based or UK, etc... Thanks, Dave...
  8. Holy cow batman, that's a lot of watches! Dave...
  9. I personally will never forget this day. I was in-the-air traveling right near the site, when the 1st plane hit. We did an immediate 180 and headed back to Toronto. Had I not needed to be in Toronto the Friday before, I would have normally left from Boston on Tuesday for my non-stop flight to California. By the time we got back, the 2nd plane just hit. The Toronto airport was a complete mess. Planes started landing from everywhere and by mid-day, it looked like a parking lot. I was lucky enough to have the fortitude to call my hotel back, as soon as we landed to get another room. I then called Hertz back to get another car, just in case. Good thing I did, because within another 30 minutes, Nothing was available anywhere. It never really hit me throughout the day, how close our plane or I could have been on one of those flights. Until around 10:00pm that night a news broadcaster said the hijackers crossed the US borders from Canada by car. He was wondering why they took that risk going through customs and leaving from Boston, when it would have been easier for them to just leave from the Toronto airport. I believe one of the fatal airplanes was headed to California. Then I looked over at my luggage and noticed the tag on the handle, it read: 9/11 – LAX. That’s when the hair on the back of my neck stoodup. My family was extremely nervous that morning until they heard we were ok. Not only because I was flying, but because my sister is also a Boston-based flight attendant for American and she was working that day. After just over 48 hours of being stuck at the airport and no real word on when US airspace will resume, I drove my rental car home. Hertz told me at the time, I was going to be charged a hefty fee, if I leave the car at a US Hertz return center. Then the US & Canada Hertz systems were not tired together, so they said they would have to retrieve the car from the US and I would be charged for that. One week later, my Amex was charged $995 fee for that recovery. After Hertz thought about it, or probably realized this may have happen a lot that week and it wouldn’t be good for their reputation, they dropped the charge. It was a very sad day in US history and I hope something like this is never repeated. Dave...
  10. Still sporting the GMT II with my blazer. Dave...
  11. Not that I would ever do it, but if trouble started for the seller and he was Told to refund the money or send the watch back, then yes, the next thing he could have done would be to remove his funds A.S.A.P. and maybe disconnect his CC info from the account. Until a dispute is filed, PP has no idea of any issues.
  12. For what this watch probably cost, and as complicated as they say it is, I'd want Perfection! Notice that as the center seconds hand is moving around, the Minute hand is not going to land Exactly on the minute-marker, exactly at 60 seconds. Also notice the center of the 1/5 hand while it spins. Doesn't look like its sitting Perfectly centered or its slightly out-of-round? Dave...
  13. Ah Dam, one of my Grails I've never purchased yet. I love this older model must better than the newer Emergencies. Very nice watch! Dave...
  14. Ah yes, more lovely watches I've had. I still wish I had my T-Graph. That one is only 1 of 150 (in Orange) and they made only 100 T-Graph's in Black face. My Sharkhunter GMT I bought Brand New, directly from Doxa. I use to see one of the Actors on 24 I think wearing one a few years back. Very well build timepieces. Dave...
  15. I would love to find a US modder that can do AR work. I'd like to have my Ploprof redone with colorless. Anyone? Dave...
  16. ^^ Thanks ^^ Oh, and she's a great assistant when working on watches too. Dave...
  17. What, this thing scares you? This is how you sleep in a King Size Bed. Yes, she can be invisible while in her Camo Sweater. No, that would be her Mother & Sisters. My cat really stands out in this crowd. Dave...
  18. Too bad is doesn't have details on the Valjoux 7734. That's what I'm looking for right now. Dave...

  21. Just wondering what others have for pets. I have a dog, she's a 14 year old Cocker Spaniel mix. I do love her, but my 2 year old cat has such a personality with me. As soon as I get home and sit on the couch, she Has to jump right up on my lap. She'll sit there all night if I let her. And yes, she is a purebred Sphynx (hairless) cat. Dave...
