  1. Go with DSN's crystal. You can't go wrong with it, and it WILL fit your 117 case. Cheers.
  2. I definetly love PAMs, specially vintage. But I can't seem to understand how can a pre-v 203A could cost as much as
  3. Perhaps his BP Platinum is the current rep!
  4. I've tried to achieve the same picture (the ones with only the gold hands shine and the rest is dark) with no success. Either way great pics of a great looking watch. By the way, has anybody notice Condemore took all the pics on 1 sitting? All have the same time! Cheers!
  5. Don't worry about the power reserve on the Asian 7750 Wiseman, it usually lasts at least 42 hours. You have a safe bet depending on the dealer from which you order. Some of them take good QC and you might get a propper serviced movement. Ask for that. Cheers!
  6. Quite informative post for anyone who wants to learn something new everyday. Specially about watches Thanks!
  7. Definetly a perfect match for Ti and brown dial. I'd love to see this strap in a 232. Cheers! Forgot to say: great work!
  8. If I'm not mistaken, that is a SWISS H and so on movement. If you really like the look and size of the Fiddy, may I suggest taking DSN's 217. It's the same watch with an almost correct movement and a very decent overall finish and feel. Cheers!
  9. Truly one of a kind 24A Fish! Congrats on your autos, although not my cup with the 27. I have never undestood why does an auto need a power reserve, instead of a manual? I'd find so useful on the later... Cheers!
  10. The patina on everything is just great VDB! Love the case work with the huge plexi and strap choice. It's most definetly that every single part you work is art and with great taste. Cheers!
  11. Love the watch strap combo. Thanks for sharing a great piece.
  12. Good luck with the search R. If something comes by my side, I'll let you know. Cheers!
  13. I'd give it a try and keep going but so far, so good!
  14. Like CJ said, an extremely steep price for a whatever PVD, poor lume, and AsianInside.
  15. Great pics on a great looking watch! I just wished there were a rettrapante movement for a PAM 286. Cheers!
  16. True, but I think Fidestro got the point: why pay an enormous amount of money for something that is not worth? (Hence the remark: "a Ferrari with a 4 cylinder"). Makes me think about this: "You're born, you take [censored]. You get out in the world, you take more [censored]. You climb a little higher, you take less [censored]. Till one day you're up in the rarefied atmosphere and you've forgotten what [censored] even looks like. Welcome to the layer cake son." Eddie Temple, Layer Cake
  17. Propably it has been said before, that even the gens had trouble with their movements (until the recent "in-house" movement was developed and introduced in the current line-up of ROO) but never the less, think about spending $12K or more into a "Ferrari with a 4 cylender"... check this out: AP ROO gen movement article Cheers!
  18. Would you take one if the SOSF factory decided to make one with the same standards? I really like the watch, but the ones available look like crap. Cheers!
  19. They look good but damn too expensive... I'd rather take the DSN 89.
  20. If PAM REPPERS decided to make it, my recommendation would've been a PAM 162. Cheers!
  21. Damn! That is a terrific PAM GMT form excellent photos. Congrats on your piece.
  22. Way to go on a project. That's what this hobby is so interesting: all that modding and sharing. Cheers!
  23. Great catch. Welcome to the Angelus club. Cheers!
  24. Thanks Pug. Already contacted the Chrono guys but they are still working on it. However with Wiseman's help I've seen progress. To the point where the original mail used to make the transaction, someone sent me an email giving specifics of the scammer and some info regarding the scheme.... It was signed "A friend". So I guess the worst battle is the one not fought. Cheers!
