  1. Here are a couple of close up pics to prove the 202a Cheers!
  2. Absolutly gorgeous the 207a. Excellent work. Cheers!
  3. As everyone else stated, you should not wind them. Please do take it to your nearest watchsmith for a quick look at the movement. SSS is right, no good movement, be it an asian or swiss, is in its right condition if it only lasts 10 hours.
  4. Well MSean, Autos do not need to wind, as you mentioned in your process, just shake it a bit so it gets running enough before you wear it, adjust the time and off you go. On the other hand, it seems that your movement could be misadjust, dry (as in no oil in it), or probably the winding gears might be stuck or broken. In any of this case, take it to your watchsmith for an inspection. Ultimatly, ask The Zigmeister for help. Cheers!
  5. Same here, I had a response last week, but no response to my emails this week.... hmmm too much work acumulated from CNY. Cheers!
  6. Hey Rolli, yours looks pretty good! Since you're doing a lot of PVD work, have you given any thought on oxidizing the case for a more gen look? For quite a while I've been thinking of doing some serious mods to this piece: case oxidizing, AR for crystal, re-lume, new blue handset, finding the perfect caseback (or at least a not marked open face like this:) And last but not least, finding the exact same movement L. 1872. Altough I've been calculating some distances and my guess is that if I do find the movement it wont work with the dial spacing I've got. Cheers!
  7. Thanks to everyone for their comments. @andrew: well the crown was a tough one due it didn't fit into the case. I had to wear it down on the inside (the side that has a little lip that should go into the case) so that the lever could actually somewhat close. I even had to shave the lever too! At the end is all about how it looks. It surely does look much better with the Palp crown than what it came with. Anyways, I'll take some more pics and post them as soon as I have some time. Cheers to everyone!
  8. Here's my 192 after a very hard to replace crown. Please do share your thoughts. Strap by Tootall: Morrocan Sunset Cheers!
  9. I have a DSN 36 and although I love it, the dial compared to pics seems a little off. Anyways, comparing to pics is NOTHING to compare to the REAL thing. So if anyone has accces to one, please be kind to share their thoughts. I have had access to a gen 82 and I also happen to have a DSN 82 and he's pretty close! By the way, hi Kye! I've been loving the 192. Cheers!
  10. LOL Indeed it does look nice. I'm still trying to find the right product in my country to do it.
  11. I've been in the search for a different caseback than the e0117 too but had no luck yet. Let's hope there's someone willing to help us guys to finally make our own personal projects as we want. Cheers!
  12. @Vic: Nice choice! @Lifter: Mate, you can't go wrong with Victoria's advice, she definetly knows straps, leather and strapmakers. And above all, exceptional taste. So follow her lead and you will be satisfied to wear an amazing strap on your first PAM. Cheers!
  13. Very nice Kai. Although I think the canteen CG is too much, it does look nice from your pics. Cheers!
  14. Guys, please do remember this is the PAM subforum. Still, nice watch.
  15. It looks best on the wrist (last shot). Excellent piece! Cheers.
  16. Excellent comment FGD! Totally agree. Cheers to DSN!
  17. What if it could be repped ala SFSO?: -Excellent quality in case and strap -Great AR -Waterproof rating as gen -Same movement as gen Now that could be a contestant for best 2008 rep!
  18. Kye! I've been searching for one of this for quite some time now! Good for you! Can't wait to see the project finished. Keep us posted. Cheers! TURBO
  19. Finally some serious improvement on this PAM (still with the flaws mentioned). Thanks for an excellent review! Cheers!
  20. Excellent work on the piece and excellent strap to match it's elegantness. Cheers!
