Gen LN inserts pop up quite often, there are a few on the Bay at the minute. NOS inserts are harder to come by but there are plenty of used ones in very good to excellent condition out there at very reasonable prices You could also try TRF but obviously dont mention that its for a replica !!

This is only my opinion and I am sure someone more knowledgeable will chime in with the facts but.... I believe the previous TC Submariners all had engraving between the lugs no doubt because this was built to be a very high end replica of a 16610, however, the TC / Cadell Submariners are 'fantasy' models that TC has designed / produced himself, they are in no way built to replicate a current Rolex model therefore I see no point in the engraving between the lugs ?? As I say this is only my opinion though

Thanks Alli - quite a few different models around that time, i'm glad I got the lugholes !! There was no paperwork however the guy I purchased it from was of the opinion that it had been serviced in the last few years, It does wind smooth and runs within COSC ATM so will hold off on a service for a little. I will plan for one in the not to far distant future

Thanks for all the great comments guys (if I needed any confirmation that I'd done the right thing then I am sure I have now!!) @ aeromatic - I have to agree, there is something that doesnt sit quite right with the ceramics, these have more character. @ alligoat & StormTooper - I am a bit in love with the lug holes Its as complete as it gets, the package was awesome (original box, papers, manuals, bezel protector, anchor & tags)

Lovely - I really do like the red second hand however a Sub without a cyclops just doesnt do it for me. New dial looks pretty good too!

Guys, Is there a rep rubber strap for the 42mm ceramic PO ?? I have had a look at some of TDs and can only see one for the 45mm PO. Fancy a bit of a change and quite like the idea of a rubber strap for a while Cheers Ryan
