  1. I have not purchased a v7 yet. I was thinking about selling this v6s for $350 or thereabout and getting the v7. Let me know if you are interested. Happy to do an M2M sale conus. I don't think there is a mixing issue with the v7's either. Andrew @trustywatchguy TrustyTime can help you. Look for the v7 stock number and he'll set you up. My 3135 problem was likely an outlier. Did you see the mainspring pic above? It simply was mangled by the rotor. I have never seen this happen on any reps that I have owned. A fluke. What to look for: Centered pearl/triangle on the 12 with the engraved crown on the rehaut/ look carefully over the bezel numbers...make sure they are even and smooth engravings/solid end link...make sure it's tight against the case/lume supernova paint...make sure it's within the rectangles/circles...no overpaint/date wheel...ask for photos of single and double digits to see how the sit in the cyclops window for centering and alignment. Those are 5-6 things are the top items I'd scan for. Others may chime in for additional checks.
  2. I always liked this dial. I ordered a new dark brown croco strap from my friend at vnhandcraft on ebay to swap out this black rep junker. Thanks Andrew @trustywatchguy...another successful sale.
  3. Well, it took a bit but Andrew at TrustyTime came through with the repair on my v6s LV sub. It arrived today via dhl and looks as good as new...perhaps even better as the repair team completed some slight polishing/brushing on the case near the spring bar insertion areas. It has a fresh sa3135 in it and they sent back the original with sa3135. Anyone needs parts for a sa3135? Everthing is perfect except the balance spring which is mangled. Let me know!
  4. Yes, same here. Best service and prices. He'll usually match or beat other deals...I know from experience. Just shoot him a note. A great source for parts too.
  5. Yes, it did. No worries...the other 7 screws were all tightly in place. Everything is waterproof...No issues.
  6. Members, A quick note of public thanks to Andrew at TrustyTime, one of the TD's here. (Trustytime01.com) I recently purchased an new AP 15450 from and M2M sale here on RWG. I went for a run with the piece, took a shower and then noticed that one of the case back screws fell out during the run. OH HELL! I emailed Andrew to see if he could source a few extra case back screws for me to repair the missing one. For a small fee of $15, he helped me get 4 case back screws from the TF factory for my AP 15450. I extend a special thanks to him for helping out with a tiny repair project. Super helpful and very fast...the shipment took under 2 weeks from the initial email. And if you need an extra AP 15450 case back screw...ping me! Glad to help you out.
  7. NOW that's Guess/Hublot is a an UGLY BASTARD! It may be gen, but sure as hell looks fake.
  8. I did not....yet. I have mine factory stock at this time.
  9. hmmm.....could not want it less if i tried.....
  10. I personally like the solid caseback version....and thus own one. My reasoning is that if/when the movement dies or I decide to invest in a swap....the Tissot Powermatic will be dropped in. I do not need to worry about the view so to speak. I would purchase the intime version for $538 and follow the new date wheel thread in this forum. Also, start lookong for a powermatic movement to drop in.
  11. Either one is a fine dealer. Movement decoration should matter less to you since it is a solid caseback. This v7, I believe, is the best version. Your only upgrade might be a Legend date wheel and a Tissot Powermatic movement swap to 21,600 bpm.
  12. apologies for the random finger prints...!
  13. This example arrived today from another member sale (pumpkineater123). I spent an hour polishing the case, greasing/waterproofing the seals, cleaning the inner case, cleaning the hands and centering the date wheel in the window. It is a nice dress piece for those blue days and is going to work great with jeans and a sweater. With a suit...perfection. The dial outside of the case is quite incredible....better radiant blue color and sunburst than the current Patek Nautilus, in fact. Super rep level that will never be questioned in the wild given the 2011 vintage and limited 1000 unit run. Enjoy a few photos of my work.
  14. v6 is fine by me....and i like the solid caseback.
  15. Andrew at Trustytime has them. JF best editin with corrected 3 marker and lume. He will know what to get you.
  16. Look at the top photo, please. The 3 marker with lume is present. The missing marker was a problem in the first batch and subsequently corrected....even through they do not call it a v2.
  17. Sadly, I do not know.
  18. AP Team, I just received this number in the mail today from a m2m sale from 'wanted to buy' section. Kudos to member Think7 for setting me up with this nice piece. I have owned 3 15400's in the past. All jf and tf best/latest versions in all of the colors (black, blue and white....no grey). I flipped colors and makers hoping the size would change or look better based upon the dial. None of these versions ever felt right as discreet dress watch. Much like a discreet Patek Aquanaut in size and simplicity. The case size of the 15400 is simply too big...almost gaudy as a dress watch...however I did love the Genta design and really wanted something smaller..just a bit smaller. I think I have found it.. The 15450 at 37mm...which does wear like a 39mm. Take a look at some of my pictures and comps with a gen Rolex Air-King and ROO Diver to see if this model may be right for you. I am quite pleased with the addition...even knowing this is currently a fantasy model with the black dial. Gens in steel ONLY come in white tapiserrie. Rose gold gens are offered with a black dial. Enjoy...!
  19. You are looking for a rare, rare asset.. Good luck!
  20. Thanks for this write-up Audemars. I say it is not horribly bad, but definitely has some issues for $200...which appears to be priced correctly. The screws and dial spacing are chief issues as well as the tapiserrie. The blue appears a bit dark too.. However, I seriously doubt you will find a gen walking down the street or in the coffeeshop...so no one will be the wiser. In fact, I have a m2m sale coming in today. A AP 15450 with a black dial in a steel case. Currently, this is a fantasy model as the 15450 only comes in a white dial in a steel case. Rose gold is available in a black dial. That said 99.998% of the people that see it will have no idea this is a fantasy model based upon dial color. Works for me too as I had 3 15400's already (black, blue, and white) from tf and jf.. I sold them all as they were too large my wrist to be understated and elegant. I am hoping this 15450 hit the mark in terms of being discreet and elegant....otherwise it will be back here in the sales corner for $285 shipped.
  21. excellent work and very much appreciated. cheers from my 3777-06 lpp model with bracelet removed for summer.
  22. iwc 3777-06 on blue camo nato.
