  1. Typical sales should include full disclosure in description and pictures. So in general, the answer is yes if the sales were misrepresented intentionally or accidentally or however then absolutely. But I would see that as a last option....you have to try to work it out and I think that is what OP tried to do. It would have to be agreeable to both to make it work. In this case, seller opted not to and offered full refund. It can't get any better than that. The only thing we have of true value in the forum is our reputation.
  2. Nice pair. I also buy 2 colors if I Like the style. Try the brown with dark unrinsed denim.
  3. Bottom line is you asked for cash back to compensate for the scratches and he did one better by offering you a refund. So what seems to be the problem?
  4. Don't do it! The flaws will nag and eat at you....the crown, dial, hands....arrgh!
  5. I did the water resistant thing and boy was it ever difficult to put the shoe polish on afterwards....it beaded and left white spots....had to wash/wipe off the water repellent film. Then i just used the shoe polish after that. For work, no need to bring the whole kit. I use the sponge block that is pre-treated with polish to wipe off dust and minor dirt....and puts the shine back one. I also keep a bottle with the sponge applicator on top just in case. In some case, i put a rubble sole (not heel) to protect and prolong the life of the shoes.
  6. The one from watcheden still needs a lot of work......sigh...more waiting...
  7. First and foremost you need to sort out all the details including how to handle disputes before money is exchanged. Both must agree to make it work. Problem usually arise when you sort out the disputes after the transaction.
  8. Always brush off dirt and wipe off any crap right away. Dont let it sit to dry specially salt...it will ruin the surface. Try not to wear the same shoe for more than 2 days. Have more than one per color so you can rotate and not over wear. I keep a bottle of liquid shoe polish at work for emedgency.
  9. Looks like it will work for tang buckles but not for deployant.....and yeah....anyone who gets into your personal space is a suspect and your alarm bells should be going off.
  10. Clearly someone have to know what's in the box. When its scanned and one can see the contents....but you will need to have the tool ready to do it though...it almost suggest that this person© know exactly what they are looking for and to do...its really odd to just take the head??!! This person had a lot of time and probably worked alone to be able to remove the spring bars instead of pocketing the entire watch. Where would that be?
  11. Let me share my experience. A couple of times I have been in your shoes. The last one arrived with tracking in a box and I thought the box was a little small and light. My suspicion was correct....I opened the box and found a dirty rag. I was furious. I immediately filed a paypal dispute and selected 'Not as described' and got turned down. Paypal's reason was that they do not guarantee or warranty the quality differences..from a rag?!. I could not believe it myself. I am not saying your case is hopeless but use mine as an example of what not to do. My 2 cents and good luck.
  12. Does this not become his word against the other?
  13. Now why would you protect the seller after this? This is like not calling the cops after you were robbed.....just sayin.
  14. When picking your reps consider matching it with your overall wardrobe and look. Read up and good luck.
  15. Package arrived at lightning speed and now its off to be serviced.
  16. For dressing up its leather definitelt....or steel and rubber for everday.
  17. Thats an expensive replacement....on the bright side perhaps you got yourself a reason for a new BB10 :-)
  18. And take a look at Getat.....you can safely assume that the quality is on par what you see around but check out the price
  19. Exactly. They will just pull all advert and send their marketing dollars to GQ...unles they did the same thing.
  20. Another option would be to contact Ken for a personal shopping at Bergies...you'll walk away with a whole new set of wardrobe,.
