@Adeodatus - Sharing your experience, specially with what you went through took courage...and as Ronin stated is one of the reason why were here. Granted you will share the info when requested. But not entirely fair for the rest of the members...specially new members when this thread become stale.....The whole point of dealer review is to specifically address this and for future buyers (old and new) to know and get the chance to be specific in shipping details instead of a broad stroke affecting the rest of the dealers....and this helps to avoid the same witch hunt that you are trying to prevent. It just baffles reason for protecting this dealer.
So assuming it was true, OP was arrested and put in a holding cell, likely now in that country's police's radar....and he wants to do it again?
Can you ban someone for attempting to be the dumbest scam? lol.
Yeah you should have forked out that $42 for tracking because now you can expect to continue to get the same response.....With tracking, you can say 'buddy, the tracking update says it was received' and buddy can't deny it.
So the TD has been in business for many years and yet the package was a simple air cap and declared amount of $400? Wtf!? This is not acceptable. Its basically a red flag invitation for customs...and you went through the whole trouble...got a lawyer and now in the customs radar and yet the TD identity is still protected? Come on.
I agree with Val. And as a former admin myself it annoyed me to see the criticism...there are a lot of things that go on in the back ground. Not sure if the RWG team did a post mortem. You guys handled it well...collected info and made a decision. My 2 cents for next time, if I may, would be to set the expectation of when an action will be done. I think it would help to communicate this.
The list is just one of things you need to do to choose. You need to read the feedback and how it was resolved. There is also a fag between buyer and sellers. Clear up anything up front to set the expectation of the product, seller and resolution.
Bottom line - there are good indications that reps were sold as gen. It also appears there are documents showing/proving that that is the case. The admins perhaps need to, if possible, advise when this will be actioned/update communication. Not having any update gives a different perception.
