What people need to understand is that not all high end watches are repped. We often get someone saying that a certain off site dealer has a certain model not available here but as it often turns out the are just showing gens. There will be some very minor exceptions but basically if our dealers can't get it then it's not repped. Ken

Amid all the horror of these fires the one thing that we have been blessed with is that our brave men and women fighting them have remained safe. Sadly this has now changed with a firefighter down from Canberra dying from injuries suffered from a falling tree. Tragically the death toll of these fires has now risen to 200 and is expected to rise still further. Ken

You know whenever there is a Sotheby's or Christies auction and you see bidding by agents for an undisclosed buyer I often wonder what their private collections must look like. It seems to me you have stumbled on one such collector, getting to know him and his collection is a true once in a life time opportunity. Can't wait to see the pic's. Ken

We all know there is two types of people in this world givers and takers. There are very many wonderful givers on this and the other boards but Ajoe is one of the minority takers, he has shown, repetitively, that he has no concern for our community outside of what it can bring him. What he doesn't tell you is that we turned a blind eye to his sales for a very long time and only moved on him when it was starting to get serious. Ken

No John there will be no organised attempt here basically the fires that did the most damage all started from only 3 points, it was the weather conditions that turned them catastrophic. Ken

John I remember the fires in Greece vividly, truly a shocking blaze, started if I remember correctly, by developers. Ken

I was reading a report by a psychologist in the paper and he said that contrary to popular belief, in most cases, the people who light these fires do not suffer from pyromania or any other mental illness. They are basically ordinary, albeit irresponsible, people who just felt it would be cool to light a fire and see how far it goes. Ken

Here in Victoria we had another bad fire called Ash Wednesday back in 1983 that was the worse bushfire (loss of life and property) in modern history, this fire has already claimed in excess of 100 more lives. The stories that have been coming out are truly heartbreaking and yet we still don't know how bad this will finally be. O God, you know of what we are made
