  7. What amazes me is here in Australia all sunglasses regardless of cost must pass Australian standards of 100% UV block, yet we can still buy cheap $5 glasses, in fact I have a pretty good pair actually purchased from the Anti Cancer Council that only cost $10, so to conform with this ruling obviously doesn't cost the manufacturer very much so why don't the rep makers simply make sure their glasses are in fact up to standard? Ken
  8. Actually I'm with Puggy here, I think it's more the attention he's after than bids. Ken
  9. Excuse me guy's but I'm laughing my arse off here Ok I'm getting on a bit now but in my younger days I was a gym instructor and quite frankly back then any one who wore any jewelery during a workout was thought of as a bit of a wanker. If you were working out in the gym even if you wore a cheap Seiko you took it off before you started, if you went for a jog the only acceptable adornment was a cheap sports watch. See we saw exercising as a way to get fit not another opportunity to impress those around us. Ok putting on my flame vest and pissing off now Ken
  10. Yes very nice watch! When you say vintage around what year is it? Ken
  11. And the winner is........ I must have heard it dozens of times but it still cracks me up Ken

  14. I'm thinking that someone has worked out how to abuse the system and is pilfering money from all and sundry, I too have lost money since your last post and I had a tax free pass for this term. So be forewarned if you have over $100,000 very soon your goung to be made to account for it, yes I know who you are so forget trying to hide it. Ken
  15. I'm thinking the next one should be dirty ditties, I'm sure that would be popular Ken
  16. That looks like a wonderful time was had, fantastic array of watches and yes Ken would love to join in a gtg, something that David and I discussed a long time back, unfortunately it wont be any time to soon as I don't travel very well due to my injury just yet and I can't drink because of all the bloody medication I'm taking Ken
  17. 1. If I was ashamed I wouldn't be here 2. Never been confronted but usually I offer the info on it being a rep before anyone gets a chance to ask. Ken
  18. And thank you for your support Ken
  19. Ok bugger this it was a complete waste of time leaving this poll up for 2 days (5 votes!), however conerstone has 3 of those votes so I'm declaring him the winner. I would also like to give the Hon. Mention prize to......................chris5264 Congratulations to the winners That's it I can now end this whole sorry saga. Ken
  20. Beautiful review as always Dave, welcome back my friend
  21. See the Bombers fly up, up to win the premiership flag Ok maybe not this year Ken
  22. My 2 cents....... It is good that these watches are turning up as I would still love to have mine (I was another who donated the full amount of my watch), however I believe if Blade was really fair dinkum about this he would have contacted our Admin before dishing them out. He is fully aware that we took it on ourselves to clean this mess up and to that end we paid off everyone who requested a refund, yet as it stands he sees the whole exercise as getting these watches posted so he can be seen to have done the right thing. The right thing would have been to turn these watches over to our Admin so we can distribute them, if he was not prepared to do this he is in fact making a second headache for us. Quite simply if we had control the people that have been refunded would be given two choices 1. Re-buy the watch 2. We sell the watch, either way we would then have cash to pay back all those who donated, Blades way we need to hope that those who received a refund and now their watch are honest enough to return the money. Ken
  23. Now you're talking like a true Aussie Ken
  24. I would say yes and I'm thinking am I the only guy who has not watched a match yet? <---- Chicken Licken Ken
