It must be remembered that the action taken here has nothing to do with the quality of work, in fact all reports suggest under different circumstances Rockarep would have been a welcomed addition to our board. It also has nothing to do with what any 'old timer' has to say on the matter. The Admin team was simply left no other choice as our rules were not only broken by one but there was in fact a planned action to do so. Maybe if there was an ounce of regret we could have looked at it again but the above post shows that is not the case. Ken

Sorry guys but life kind of got in the way. School holidays and a bored daughter and all that Replies have been sent. Ken

A quick note so no one worries... School holidays here and I have to take the family out tonight and then off to the snow tomorrow. I should be back and available by tomorrow evening, my time. Thank you Ken

I was thinking the same thing Ziggy. Ken

@mikolee are you suggesting that because you bought good watches from Rockarep that he and GSW should be allowed to break the boards rules? This is not about the quality of his watches or parts, there are Admin team members who have had trouble free transactions with him but nobody gets a free ride on our rules. This board is here for all to enjoy, our rules are to make sure that everyone plays fair. Ken

If this is true, and I can assure you there is a lot of info that suggests it is not, we are more than willing to see your proof. However any damage that may have been done falls squarely on your shoulders.... Do you honestly believe it is ok to mislead the Admin team and members in this manner? Ken

Just a correction. He has not been banned he is simply losing one account. Rockarep came into existence after GWS was given a time out for a run in with Admin. He is losing Rockarep because (1) It breached our rules in the first place (2) He needs to build a good name with his original handle, not use it as a shill. Good work Red and Andy. Ken

So that's a gen watch for yourself? If so I say forget the yatchmaster and look for a nice dress watch you certainly have the budget to get what you want. You can save heaps if you just get a nice coaxial seamaster, although that AP would be nice. Ken

Indeed the place is quite without him around. Ken

100% agreed. I know he took a lot of heat from some members on RG when he had personal problems and was basically dubbed a scammer. Probably took the shine off a bit for him but I always found Gio to be a stand up guy. @ Mike on a bike 5 different guys can buy this bag and get 5 different prices, there are a lot of variables (size of order for example) but the individual price shipped to the US is $290 Ken

All jokes aside that pic is absolutely stunning. Sell it to the Tourist Bureau and it will be on postcards within weeks. Ken

it would be cool but Nanuq's wife wont let him go to bed. She keeps saying "It's broad daylight out there, fix the bloody barn door, like you keep promising. Then trim the hedge, paint the fence, mow the law. And then I have a million jobs for you inside" "And be quick about it too, I don't want you late for work tomorrow!" Ken

Just a point of interest I helped one member replace a lost diamond ring with a genuine from China at one point. It wasn't cheap but certainly a lot less than what you have to pay in the west. Ken

Give me the cash and you can have the other one too Big congrats A Ken

actually we do that to mess with your head Ken

I was going to say it went the same WAY they all go Red Bull gives them wings. Ken

Just for the record there are some good sites out there Thehandbagbuzz is one of them DIY.com is not The point everyone in this thread makes is that there are dealers here (not just myself) who offer the same quality as thehandbagbuzz but at cheaper prices, so (1) you pay more for less service and security (2) You support off site dealers. The real question is why? Ken

Found this page regarding lost packages in the US (USPS)
KB replied to Jkay's topic in General Discussion
so let me get this straight. You mail an item through usps, that item gets losts because of..well..usps, usps then opens the mail belonging to you that they lost and they determine whether the item has value, say goodbye to a trinket from a loved one, or a last letter from a recently deceased etc.. if the item does have value though, usps can auction it and keep the proceeds.. Sounds like a nice little scam to me. Ken -
Hey guys its been a while but anyone seen these?

Good to see you J. I would like to help with the watches but unfortunately I can't see them past the glare Ken -

I am the only Admin member to say 'I would delete his account for that rant' I do (and did) know however that he would never get banned for this thread, (oh he would on 90% of the net's forums be banned for attacking the Admin team), but it is not the way we work here. My comment was just a personal view of how I think about people who totally lack respect for the hours we put in trying to give you, the member, a safe and enjoyable forum. Ken -

Look lets get this straight once and for all. We vet high value sales to protect the membership, this is not a quick process at any time because it is not a case of the seller giving us the required information, we also need to manually verify that information. Iceberg got his nose out of joint because this process does in fact take time, the team makes absolutely no apologies for that, we consider that a genuine seller would not have an issue waiting a week or so for approval. If on the other hand an urgent situation arises that requires an immediate sale then RWG is not the place to sell. That said this whole thread is not about the sale itself it is about Iceberg's non-acceptance of the process and total lack of respect for the people who do this for the love of the board. Ken -
It's a gravy boat..... Ken

If it was up to me I would just close your account for that rant. Ken
