I think TJ hit on the topic a bit better than anyone else here.
To me the question was...'remove all branding and lay a rep and gen down beside each other'
This means all production, advertising, delivery and after sales cost are irrelevant.
In the end the gen will still be the better watch and the one actually worth more but it will be a lot closer than the true price tags suggest.

Ok I need to talk to my counterpart but I am confused as to why there is a sale thread in the Breitling section?
We do have a section for the sale of parts.

Hi WM and welcome to RWG
There are many from Canada here so a gtg would be easy to organize.
Join in on a few threads chat and let everyone get to know you and you will soon be making more friends that you thought possible.

I am with Maxman on this.
A fake watch would look like a watch but, by definition, be a non functional item.
Our watches are not only functional but are replications of genuine high end pieces.
The use of the word fake to describe our watches is not only grammatically incorrect, but also a deliberate attempt to try and degrade them as much as possible.

What would we do without you Ziggy.
Once again a fantastic breakdown review.
My guess on the DW is that somewhere along the production line it saved them a few bucks.
Chinese seem to never look at the big picture and are more concerned with whats in it for them here and now.

Agreed on the don't bash point.
These are, after all, the people who introduced you to the watch you have grown to love.
It is a shame to see this happen but for a limited watch run I would have distributed it in the same manner, the inner sanctum, the guys that have been long time supporters are in fact the people who should benefit.

Half the kids in Melbourne wouldn't have a problem wearing that shirt.
I was walking through a shopping center the other day and this kid walking towards me was wearing a shirt that said in big letters 'Jesus Loves You', in smaller letters it said 'Everyone else thinks you're a c**t!'
