The case whisperer at it again. The man who talks to cases...
the force is strong in you.
I would love to see you shape the bottom of the lugs to match the excellent bevels you cut. Maybe color match the hands.
If you grow tired of her I would be interested in discussing moving the project forward with you [emoji1303]
Dude! That is awesome. Look how much more field of vision you created there. Super cool.
I also looked at the loupe system, but the price turned me off. Been looking for one to come up used, but have not seen any. My carry is a BeIOMO and it is a decent loupe but the field of vision is pretty narrow. I will try and build something like you have done.
Nice work
Lol, one of my friends wears a gen YG and in person they are pretty impressive. Huge and heavy but the attention to detail and finish work is exceptional. Looks different in person than in pics IMHO. I don't like busy dials so I would not wear one but appreciate the workmanship.
I feel ya brother. I bought a new pair of Revo a couple of years ago and they're just not the same. New Ray Bans too. They moved their outsourcing from Italy to Asia a while back. My favorite RB's are the old Buache & Lomb made right here in USA.
Only newer glasses I wear are a pair of Persol. They are well made glasses with quality lenses.
I would not wear rep glasses.
Agree with much of what has been said.
In my time here, this forum has always been a safe place to discuss just about any topic. Very anti drama here and I like that.
For the most part I am a constitutionalist and things that move us (Americans) away from the constitution I generally oppose.
I found the video interesting in his views of the "socialist left" are similar to mine. I won't go into too many details as I tend to get into conspiracy theories....I am not a fan of big government or big media.
I 100% agree in our constitutional right to bear arms.
Get well soon. And yes nothing cheers up a WIS like a beautifully executed build.
Rolo does some awesome work.
Hopefully we will see some wrist shots soon.
Lol, it did not turn out as good as expected. I destroyed three bracelets to make one decent one and then sold it a week later...it did lay flatter but probably not worth the trouble or expense. It's hard to believe no one can make a decent replacement, the gen is not that complicated. There has got to be some demand even with the gen owners. If I had a decent alternative I would just leave my gen in the box. I end up wearing straps on my gilt more often to save wear on the 7206.
The one on the right in the first pic and bottom on the last.
I went through this last year trying to find a decent aftermarket 7206. I ended up getting a gen, but I did have some luck modifying the end connection on the Yuki, which at the time was the thinnest and closest to gen except for the goofy end link connection. The modded Yuki is long gone. I will see if I can find the before and after pics and also did a comparison of 3 aftermarkets to a gen.
