  1. Ok thank you. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  2. Thanks T. I will order the 7836 from watch international and I think I may have found some screws to fix my 7206. So I should have options. May order the Yuki 7206 too while it's available. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  3. Thanks guys. Everyone has in stock right now. Mainly debating if it's worth the extra $ for the Yuki. Anyone had both of these models to compare??? Sent from my droptop using telepathy.

  5. Good morning, Researching a bracelet for my 1016 build. I have a rivet bracelet that came with my cartel 1675 and had planned to use it, but I keep loosing the outside screws and now I am short 3 screws... I like the look of the "7206" as I did a lot of hand work on it to give it a vintage look and feel, but not sure I can solve the screw problem. Anyone run into this problem? Any suggestions for the screws. Thought about going to the local jeweler to see if he had some screws that would fit or maybe the hardware store. I bought another partial rivet bracelet on the sales board but it will not work. Screws do not fit and there are not enough of them anyways. Other option is to use a 7836 folded bracelet which may make more sense--no screws. Studied some old threads on 1016 builds and most recommended "mary" watch international's 7836 and they have some in stock and they are inexpensive but only take WU. Trusty has a folded for same price for a 1655, trying to determine if these are the same bracelet? Yuki has both the 7836 and 7206 but are three times the cost; however they do look good. I have never had any of these options in my hands. Anyone have experience with these models can give me an idea if it's worth the extra to go with the Yuki? Any help much appreciated. This is the last piece I need to get the build assembled.

  11. Don't get me wrong Lexus builds a great car, but as my handle would indicate I am a droptop guy. My current ride is a 2015 audi S5 cabriolet I special ordered. Where I live I need all wheel drive and I love droptops so audi is perfect car for me. I chipped this and put better air box so now around 420hp. I know without pics it isn't true so here u go Sent from my droptop using telepathy.

  16. Yes I remember building a micron PC back in early 90's it was around 5k. My iPhone has way more power and capability. We were moving from kb to mb back then with no thought about gb. I love technology but not in watches. I have always worn a watch playing golf and bought a Garmin gps golf watch but usually wear a Rollie and put the Garmin on the bag. Just doesn't feel right on the wrist. I cannot see myself wearing a smart watch. Same way with cars. Love cars my whole life. Tried to drive a more normal car a few years back (Lexus GS) but just didn't do it for me. I love to drive so the expense is well worth the reward. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  17. White lightning dry bike chain lube works good. So does the stainless cleaner conditioner that came with my appliances in my new house. There are a couple threads around on what different people use. I usually do the white lightning in a zip lock bag overnight the clean with soap and water and dry it then put it in zip lock bag with the SS conditioner overnight then wash with soap and water. This is best process I have found. Leaves bracelet super smooth and quiet and the finish looks great. Also adds protection. All this of course after brushing the crap out if it with scotch bright pads to get the gen brushed look and feel. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  18. Dude that is so awesome. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  19. Funny.....not positive it's the same sales post but sounds like it. I just hope your not too discouraged. We all go through some growing pains in this hobby but in the end it's a great place. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  20. I was interested in this piece for a friend but as stated seller never answered questions or posted more pics. I could easily be in the same position as the op here as I almost bought it anyway. Hopefully Moab will find a resolution. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  21. Justice. Nice. Glad to hear this. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  22. Sorry to hear about this. Especially for a new member. Always amazes me what some will do for a few bucks. This is such a great hobby and forum but a bad experience like this can ruin it for someone and turn them away. I hope you find a resolution and I hope you stick around. I have met some really great people here and learned so much from the members. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  23. Thanks Yes both from Matt. Both with gen goodies. I compared the DJ to my friends modern gen tt and it is very close. Case shape and thickness is good match. At the end of the lug on the gen it is just slightly more rounded than pointy. I could do a little mod on mine but really doesn't bother me. Matt is great to work with. A true professional and really nice guy. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
  24. Cromag Thanks man, you are correct. I was wondering my my pics looked so bad lately. Here u go much better. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.
