  1. Have the nameless one make you a hand made relief gilt dial. Big bucks but worth it.
  2. @mjmj, happy watch collector bday [emoji322][emoji323][emoji322][emoji324]
  3. They are a reputable seller, at least they sell on TRF and the logo looks the same. They have a website http://hillstreetwatchcompany.com/
  4. Love these afternoon shots in my office with lights out and sun peeking in through my windows. Hail the DOME
  5. I do not care for it either, but do think there is some cool mechanical stuff going on there. Did not catch the price but I bet it is crazy money.
  6. Peace brothers, problem solved. Thanks for the knowledge.
  7. Thank you for clearing that up. Glad I asked because I had it wrong. So a genuine service t21 sounds like the one. A service will be more of a flat top. My t21 is an original old school dome. That is where I was confused. I had a DW 6263 with a genuine flat top plexi and mistakenly assumed it was a t22 because of the flat top, but I bet it was a gen service t 21.
  8. Good morning, looking for a little help. A friend asked about changing his dome plexi on his 6263 to a flat top. I am not well schooled but it is my understanding the t21 is domed and the t22 is the flat top. Also my understanding that the inner diameter is the same on both plexi's, but the outer diameter is not. When we did my 1016 build, I wanted a domed t21 and we used a different bezel than the bezel that worked with the t22. I assume this would be the same case for the Daytona. If he wants to go with a t22 would he need a different bezel also? Anyone help me with this?
  9. Interesting design https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/the-harry-winston-opus-14
  10. @cc33, my computer almost crashed loading that hi res fall photo....great pics, that second pic makes a vintage [censored] like myself go online shopping for more vintage watches.
  11. Dang Jack, that is a beautiful piece. Probably my favorite modern IWC. Very nice work on this one. Classic simple design. How is the lume?
  12. +1, most would say never ship back to China. Even if you have to pay to have it fixed, it usually is a better solution. I personally would never send one back.
  13. @rosetech, geez is it the 28th there already? It is only 2:17 PM here in WA state. Fit looks good, but PCL's on a vintage GMT may be a little too blingy.
  14. Thanks, that crown was difficult to find and $$$$. It was still in the original packaging... Yuki sold 2 different versions and now I see they only have one. I cannot remember which one I ordered but it was around $75. If not this then very similar. Did not care about the different diving extension of the incorrect stamp which I sanded off. I mainly wear it with my gen 7206 anyways, but still think this bracelet is decent for the money and wears nice. http://www.yukiwatch.com/catalog/item/6784664/7909371.htm 2mm drill bit that broke while doing the job....had to test filt gen spec spring bars and then take a little more off by manipulating the drill with a smaller bit. Not a precise job but it worked. Still plenty of meat on the last bracelet link that secures the end links to be solid and safe. Did not care for the end links that came with the Yuki so used some lightly modded WSO 580's which you can see in the pics are a good fit. So for $100 total and a little mod that anyone can do, decent outcome.
  15. Trying a new strap on the BB
  16. Hard to source a 9315 outside of a gen which will run 1K+. Gen 93150 can be found for less but still in the 500-1000 range. Once again hard to source a decent rep 93150. Yuki sells a decent 2 piece model that is stamped 93250 that can be drilled out for 2mm spring bars and works pretty good with a 5513/5512. Needs a little aging and work but can be used for a reasonable cost. I drilled one of the Yuki's for 2mm bars and did several brush, polish and dry lube treatments. Wears and looks great for the cost. Used WSO 580 end links from Ebay.
  17. Nice looking piece. Agree with the others a 7206 or 9315/0 bracelet with some 580 end links would definitely set it off.
  18. Thanks, you should see it on a tan B&S strap tomorrow. Package arrived today. I will see if I can get the bracelet off without a special tool when I get home....Once I get the bracelet off then I will rotate some different looks.
  19. Awesome project. Looking forward to seeing Mike work his magic on this.
