  1. You did good at that price, especially with that dial. Decent gens are more like 6.5-7.5K range now days. Only beat up pieces I see for <6K.
  2. Called all the AD's within driving distance and they are all sold...taking preorders for the next batch. I really like it but not enough to pre pay/order it. Plus that would have to come out of my 5513 gilt fund. Hopefully the novelty will wear off and I will stick to vintage pieces
  3. Welcome to RWG, Based on the build you posted this morning, you will fit in great here.
  4. No doubt, that dial is flawless. Do not get my wrong this is an awesome build, just the little details....Good luck!
  5. Very nice build man. One of my favorite models. Beautiful t25 dial you have there. One little detail. You may want to think about putting a micro bevel/chamfer on the lugs of the case. These models had just a small chamfer on them. This is my A serial 1999, so even the Swiss Made Dials had a small chamfer on them.
  6. Guy on TRF picked one up today and posted some picks and details. Guys are going nuts over it. Even the vintage guys. At the price point hard not to get one. I guess there is already a pretty good wait list at most AD's. I am going to call around tomorrow and see what's available and when.
  7. You think...LOL That is absolutely stunning. You always have the best stuff....and taste. You know that is cold with me looking for a gilt 5513. So early 60's model? Just WOW! Love the layout of that dial. Cannot stop staring. OK back to shopping for the gilt now....
  8. @cc33, wow man great shot. Wait a minute....have I seen this one before??? Gorgeous. That insert might the be the best one I have ever seen. Cartoonish fonts. Love it.
  9. Cleaned up an old Jubilee I had in the box. Since most of my watches have oysters I think I will go with this for a while. Talk about comfortable and easy to wear.
  10. $50 holy smokes man that is a good deal. I paid $350 for an nos 700 crown and tube last year....
  11. Awesome, congratulations on a great retirement gift.
  12. Sold my LV which was my Seahawks game day piece so this I guess this will be the one for now. Go Hawks!
  13. Decent price for the condition. Mint condition are going $800 and up.
  14. Little change up. Decided not to wear the GMT to the gym....
  15. Hope you guys are enjoying yourselves. Trip to the AD is always fun. Nice pic.
