  1. Lol, "we entertain all offers".
  2. Changed up, this just came from Matt. Interesting that with a gen case and end links took some work to get a good fit. Just a timeless classic IMHO.
  3. I have some parts for a build but just have not come across an appropriate dial...maybe someday one will appear.
  4. Great pics. Someday I will take a quality photo[emoji52]. Shooting in the "raw" bwa ha ha!
  5. Rolex applied for a new GMT patent this month. Looks like the bezel will actually operate GMT function. There is a thread over on TRF. Lots of speculation on if it will be a new SS Pepsi. Maybe a white dialed Pepsi...that would be a modern Rolex I would love to see.

  7. 66 back on a 66 Rivet. IMHO the best combo.
  8. I have some parts from Baleindessable, I guess I better take a closer look to ensure they are genuine....I also was close to buying one of the said "cases" that were listed a while back. Grateful for the forum and that we look out for each other. Thanks to the mods for taking care of business. This kind of thing makes me sad as to me, this is a gentleman's hobby. I agree with Nanuq, reputation is very important.
  9. Wow some great pictures this morning. @dbane883 awesome photos. Nice sunny day for my TT
  10. If you do a search, dbane did a comparison of spring bars not that long ago. I think the consensus was that ST spring bars were the closest to gen and are reasonably priced. I have several sets and they are nice and functional. I did not have good luck with the bars I bought from sellers on ebay. The springs inside are not as good and they did not seem to last or function as well. I do change straps and bracelets a lot though.
  11. Really happy with how the 1016 build number 2 turned out.
  12. Serials should be in the 1,300,000-1,500,00 range. But check here http://www.vintagerolexforum.com/
  13. Same here. Mine arrived as well. Very cool stuff. When I get time I will do some pics. Items really look vintage.
  14. Birth year so lots of reading. Cool period as both the Sub and GMT offered gilt and non gilt dials in 66. As far as I know regular crown guards on a 66 5512/13 Sub.
  15. @cc33 I really dig how even after all these years you can still see those large bevels. Awesome pics.
  16. That is a beauty. Mike sure does some outstanding work. Sooner or later I will either buy a gen SD or build one.
