  1. If you are only interested in maintaining a "like-new" appearance of your watch, I see your point. HOWEVER, for those of us who like the aged look of a nice patina......... It lends a personalized and unique look to each of our pieces.
  2. Gotta admit, I like the look of the Bronzo after the ammonia treatment! Gonna have to think about giving it a try this weekend!
  3. Sub day....... Ouch! Lousy photo!!!
  4. Not the OP but also wondering. If I set the gym dial (reverse of date set) should it not continue accurately from there? I have a PO GMT that will only move the GMT dial at its whim and not from where I set it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Seriously people???? :-/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I have one GEN - Breitling Chrono Evo, which I bought some 8 years ago now and had worn it heavily until I joined the REP world. It does hold a special place in my collection though.

  8. Where'd you get that band? Gorgeous! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  10. I have my REP collection because *I* enjoy them and wear them for my own pleasure. I have no interest in flaunting them or passing them off as GENs. When someone points out my watch, I don't offer details either way unless I'm asked. Just this morning, a co-worker looked at my PAM Bronzo and said "nice watch!" I said "thanks!" and left it at that. no need to make a big deal about it.
  11. Bronzo on its new ammo bag canvas strap. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Not sure what you mean by the seahorse being misaligned? I would accept that one in a minute! ;-)
  13. Got the canvas strap today and threw it on. I'm thrilled with the combo of the strap and patina. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Can't take this one off! Eeek! Shoulda wiped it clean before snapping the photo.

  17. It's a very subjective decision that only you can make. For me, the subdial issue would drive me crazy, even though 99.9% of those looking at the watch would be oblivious to it.
  18. Been a while since I've brought this one out of the box!
  19. I've taken the risk and have had no water issues so far. Soaked my Pan Bronzo in hot water and liver of sulfur to patina it. 3 minutes under water and no issues. I shower with it, with my PO, DSSD and Seawolf with no water issues so far. All my reps have been toward the higher end so far and through Andrew, not that it matters. I'm pretty comfortable showering with one on, but swimming might be of more concern. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
